In another location much more sophisticated than some clearing in a forest, several individuals could be seen standing around and overlooking a courtyard where two people now stood at its center.
At one end of the courtyard stood a beautiful young woman adorning silver armor that covered up all of her torso and extended into some sort of battle skirt that stopped just above her knee. The young woman wielded a rapier in one hand that sat perfectly parallel to her and in her other hand was some sort of glowing white stone.
On the other end of the courtyard stood another young man wearing similar armor to his female counterpart. The only difference being that instead of a rapier, this man wielded a seven foot long guandao.
Looking at the young man, it seemed somewhat comical as the weapon itself stood nearly two to three feet taller than the wielder.
It didn't seem like he'd even be able to move the gigantic looking weapon, let alone fight with it.
