Once Marcus regained his bearings and summoned his weapon, a few things occurred, all of which thoroughly surprised Felicia.
The first of which was Marcus's demeanor. His attitude change from that of a frightened child to that of a vengeful beast left Felicia astonished. It was so quick and unexpected that Felicia nearly failed to dodge the horizontal slash Marcus sent towards her.
After dodging the first attack from Marcus, the young omen followed up with a vertical slash this time, followed by several more strikes at varying angles. This caused Felicia to quickly dodge out of the way by a hairs breath each time.
From an outsider's point of view, it seemed as though Marcus had the upper hand whilst fighting against the woman, but if one looked closely, they'd notice that even though Marcus grew exceedingly close to hitting Felicia, it wasn't through his own efforts.
