The system had specifically said the word 'performance' instead of singing or something specific like that so I had been hoping that either my entrance or my dancing would count as a performance and it seems my gambling had paid off. I of course didn't want to sing in front all the guest I had invited, that would have been stupid on my part considering I was in my Hero attire. It was already bad enough that my new wife was aware of my natural singing voice.

When I had originally sung in front of Hila, I thought for sure she would have stayed in Atlantis never to be seen by me or any surface dweller again as per Atlantean's usual behavior, but life had ways of surprising a person. I would need to have a conversation with her and let her know to not speak on it in front of others.

I was not a romantic man, but I wasn't completely heartless either. Hila wanted to return with us and move into my castle, so I of course could at least agree to this and so I gave her my approval. It would be a little odd if my first wife was living somewhere else other than my own Kingdom.

The trip back home was better than I had expected. Everyone I had brought along had made Hila feel welcome and talked with her along the way about many things. Supergirl, Scream Queen, and Cosmic Starlight all but avoided me and I would catch Supergirl mean mugging me from time to time, which I ignored.

Upon arrival at the Castle, we all walked into the throne room and to mine and everyone else's surprise, an elegant yet small throne was added beside mine in the throne room. The new throne was golden with green and purple gems embedded in parts of it's design. The top part of the throne had a trident with two dolphins swimming around it in an odd metallic animation which made the throne feel alive. It's back and butt cushions were red and comfortable looking.

As if drawn to the throne Hila walked up to it and sat down. "Oh, I can access the oceans water through the throne. How magical!" She then got off the throne and walked over to me, hugging on my arm as the girls nearby watched on. "Will every wife you have in the future have a personalized throne like this or am I special?"

The girls nearby perked up at her odd phrasing. Every wife? doesn't that imply he will have other wives in the future?

I pulled my arm out of her arms and walked to the elevator ignoring her question mostly because I didn't know the answer to it. "Come this way, I'll show you to your room".

I had been informed of a few pieces of information before arriving. Although I hadn't been informed about the new throne, I had been informed by the system that Hila would have a personalized room free of charge which is where I was about to take her. I was also told what her ring did for her. Her ring not only acted as a communication device between other wives rings, but she could also create a personalized weapon made of the systems metal and store it within the ring which also had a limited storage.

Walking into the elevator with Hila and leaving the rest to do whatever they wanted behind, I found Hila's name and pushed it. After the doors closed Hila spoke. "The women you danced with at the ball, are those the only girls you currently have any interest in? Or are there more?"

I looked over at my new wife. "Only these women currently interest me, but does this not upset you in any way?" I looked at her body language in hopes to better understand her as she responded to my question.

"As far as political marriages go, I couldn't ask for better. I not only chose you, but you are also a good man. Not only that, but the women that interest you all treat me nicely. Just as long as everyone always remembers that I am the first wife and shows me a certain level of respect, I will be content".

I nodded me head at her words. "You are the official first wife always, if you ever feel unhappy, let me know and I will try to do better by you".

At this time the elevator doors opened up revealing a very large room filled with water, but other than that it had the usual accommodations as the other rooms. A protective film prevented the water from washing into the elevator and when Hila stepped into it, I heard a 'plop' sound as she entered and then began to swim around.

Watching this, I felt the room was missing something and so I accessed my systems shop and looked through the systems pets for the first time. The system surprised me once again as I looked at all the wonderous pets from different universes that I could adopt. The pet prices ranged from 5000c- to 20,000c depending on the pet that was purchased. Every pet listed was extortionary or unique in some way, but could not leave the house unless given permission by me and even then the pets could not leave my domain regardless if I was okay with it or not.

After searching though a number of universes to find a pet, I found one from the Marvel Universe and picked it for 5000c. In front of me Jeff the baby landshark appeared and so I picked it up and threw it into the room with Hila. "This is my marriage gift to you, I hope you like him, his name is Jeff".

Hila looked at the landshark that swam away from her and hid behind her bed. It peeked its head out looking in her direction seemingly both curious and frightened at it's new home and the woman in front of him.

Hila approached him slowly while calling out to him. "Come here Jeff, no need to be afraid". Jeff seemed to understand Hila's words as he slowly swam towards her and right when he was near enough to her, Hila swooped him up into her arms holding him like a baby. "You are sooooooooo cute" she spoke to the land shark before turning her head and looking towards the elevator. "Thank you hubby".

Hearing her words made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but I nodded and then went back downstairs to find everyone had already gone to do other things. Being married didn't feel bad, but it was mentally exhausting for me. Now that I finally had some coins, I could buy a few things. Sitting in my throne I brought up the systems domain perk shop.
