Tomorrow was the day of the Atlantis Masquerade Ball and although the amount of coins listed sounded good and I did need them, what I really wanted and needed right now was regular cash. I still had plans to open up a shop and buy the land my castle sits on. Both goals have not been forgotten by me. Not only that, but once I do my concert in Dakota City I would have an extra 200,000c if I complete the task for it. Soon, I would not be short on coins.

I also need a lot of money to build a tournament arena in the near future because the league had recently given me their approval for it and the government had also agreed as long as there were safety precautions in place to protect it's viewers and the earth itself. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was in it's editing phase right now and people wouldn't see it for at least a couple of months. Luckily I get paid regardless of how the film does and would be getting my paycheck sooner than later.

I didn't have an agent like most actors, so I had to negotiate my price myself. Originally I was going to be paid close to ten thousand for my original small part with a couple of lines. I wasn't doing it for the money though and instead more for the exposure it would get me. After Shane had negotiated a new contract with me for my new role which made me one of the main actors of the movie, my price shot up greatly.

I was sure that if I had an agent I could have negotiated a higher price, but then Id have to pay the agent and the people the agent worked for as well as other expenses. Playing the role of 'Gay Perry' my pay greatly increased to the point that even though I probably could have gotten more money, I was satisfied with the amount I negotiated on my own.

To my amazement, I would be making close to one hundred and fifty thousand usd. It wasn't a lot compared to more well known celebrities that easily make 50 million easy per film, but it was a lot for a movie that was an independent film and the fact that this was my first acting performance in this world. I was being paid more than I probably should have. I think it was mostly due to Shane needing to recast so last minute and that he was desperate.

Thankfully Kiss Kiss Bang Bang wasn't a low budget independent film and the director had money to spare, in fact I could have probably gotten more money out of him if I had been greedy enough, but I cared more about the connections I made then the initial money I earned. In Hollywood it was smart to make good connections. More connections equaled more work in the future.

Looking at the new task in front of me again, I decided id try to accomplish what task's I could and if I was to do this, I wanted to dance with women that I actually liked and not some random person. Thinking about my extra Atlantis Ball invitation, a face appeared in my mind and so I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote up a personal invitation.

The letter read:

⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄

I invite you to be one of my guest at the Atlantis Masquerade Ball.

A ride will come and pick you up in front of Moonlight Castle at 5:pm tomorrow If you wish to accept.

I hope to see you there.

- King Moonlight

⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄⋄

After having put the letter in an envelope and sealing it with my newly made royal seal. I looked for Nina's very unique almost non existent Ki signature and then flew to her. Once I found her I willed my Ki to fly the envelope to her hands and then I flew away back to my Castle to prepare for tomorrows Masquerade ball.

-=Nina's Pov=-

Nina had been thinking about her old band and how she missed being the lead singer as she walked down the sidewalk heading to the nearby gas station to grab a few things. As she was thinking about maybe getting her old band back together, an odd sight caught her eye as an envelope flying in a strange pattern avoided obstacles and headed her way seemingly with a mind of it's own.

When the letter arrived in front of her, it slowed down greatly and made it's way into her hand. Looking at the envelope in question, she noticed her name was on it's front. The envelope was black with golden thread sowed along it's borders making it both beautiful and eye catching. The writing on it was done with a white ink that contrasted well to the black parchment the envelope was made of. On the envelopes lip was a golden wax seal with an interesting crescent moon stamped into it.

Opening the letter she was shocked to see it was supposedly from King Moonlight himself whom she had never met before. Reading the letter she wondered if this was a prank of some sort or maybe even a trap. What's to say this was even really from the King? After reading the letter she decided she would attend. Why wouldn't she? She currently had nothing better to do.

If it was a trap, she was strong enough to get herself out of any trouble that would find her and if it wasn't a trap she would be able to see Atlantis which was said to be an underwater Kingdom that the lesser seen Justice League Hero Aquaman lived at. Although she had no idea why she would be invited to such a thing from the King himself, she did not want to pass on such an interesting opportunity if it were true.

A masquerade ball? She had no dress and although she had never worn a mask before, she figured she could buy one fairly easily before tomorrow. As she finished her walk to the gas station, she began to smile. 'This City is so interesting, I am almost never bored'. she thought.
