I had no patience to deal with this clown and I had no x-ray abilities to look for the bomb. I also had no idea if it was on a timer, could be detonated by a device, or if it even really existed. Knowing the Joker, it probaby existed though. Realizing I was out of my depth in this situation, I tapped the com in my ear. "King Moonlight to Justice League, I'm currently with the Joker inside Gotham Stadium and I need assistance finding, inspecting, and disarming the bomb before it goes off".
"Oh-hoho all brawn and no brain I see" Said Joker upon hearing my call. I made a mental note to fix this weakness I had overlooked whenever I had the chance. Within seconds Superman arrived. I wondered if two heroes being in Gotham would upset Batman, but I just happened to be here and I can't do nothing when people I cared about were in danger and not only that, it's not the first time I have operated in Gotham.
"I found the bombs and got rid of them" Said superman as he floated down to my side after stealing a glance at my clone on the side, obviously recognizing my Celebrity persona, but ignoring it because he was here on League business.
"Did you put bombs anywhere else in the city?" I asked the Joker not expecting much.
"haha Who knows? Maybe I did, maybe I didn't?" replied the Joker.
Getting on the coms again I called The Flash. "Flash, can you do a quick sweep of Gotham City and look for bombs or anything that looks out of place?"
"I'll get right on it" ..."No nothing aside from the usual creepiness that Gotham has always had". Replied Flash quickly.
I knew I was missing something because The Joker always had something else up his sleeve after you found what he wanted you to find up his sleeve. "Superman, what kind of bomb was it?"
Superman thought back to the bomb he had just destroyed before speaking. "It was your standard IED as far as I could see, Batman could probably tell you more than me".
Thinking quickly I activated my camera view skill and sped around the building as Superman kept watch of the Joker. I was grasping at straws, but I needed to do something instead of nothing as I waited for other members of the Justice League to arrive. When the skill activated I saw all of the cameras within the building which included cell phones. Many IED's were activated via cell phone, I was hopeful that if there was another bomb, the attached cell phone had a camera on it.
As the transparent orange of my system covered all of the cameras in the building it, above and below it as well, I saw a cell phone that appeared to be below the theatre. Without giving an explanation to Superman I built up a small amount of ki in my hand and shot it towards the cell phone that was marked. Shortly after firing off the shot of Ki and creating a sewer sized hole in the ground that perfectly cut through the flooring, dirt, and rock, a green smoke started to rise up from the hole.
"If I was a betting man, id say that is Joker gas, Superman please siphon it out to where it doesn't harm anyone in the theatre".
Superman quickly moved and got rid of the gas before returning. "It looks like it's not only a large explosive, but also contained a large amount of Joker gas like you said. I couldn't see it because it had been blocked by all the lead that was in the sewage tunnels".
I nodded my head before contacting The Flash again. "You didn't search the sewers?"
"Ew gross no, you said to search the City and I hadn't thought to search the sewers" replied flash.
The Jokers frown told me everything I needed to know. His plans had been foiled. Superman approached the Joker and spoke. "I'll take the Joker to Arkham".
I shook my head at his words. "No, i'll take care of him". Upon hearing my words Superman paused and was about to say something and then stopped himself before saying something else. "Okay, but id like it if you show me where Mongul and the rest are".
It was obvious Batman had told him that some Villains had gone missing, I didn't think Superman was that smart. "Alright, give me a week and I'll let you see".
As I was leaving with the Joker in hand I heard Superman speak to my clone. "Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"
My clone responded by saying no and asked Superman to close up the wound himself if he could. Superman obliged and spoke to the audience. "You are all safe now, we have gotten rid of the threat. Please enjoy the rest of your show. Superman then looked into the crowd at the Heroes in civilian clothing including his cousin Kara before leaving. The Heroes in the crowd understood what that look meant. "Be vigilante just in case".
The young heroes that had been in the crowd and weren't able to move in case the bomb was real. They hadn't wanted to be the reason so many would have died. Luckily for them, King Moonlight suddenly appeared and took control.
As things started to calm down again, Prince Aeric spoke into the mic.
"For those that wish to finish the show, I would really like to sing you a parting song that me and the band had worked hard on to show you. I should be okay to perform so don't worry about me, Superman fixed me up".
Some of the audience did not feel safe any longer and had left, but quite a bit stayed behind to finish out the show. 'Prince Aeric had gotten shot and he is still willing to sing alongside his bandmates for us, we should at least stay and enjoy one last song' was the general sentiment.
