For this song I wanted to go all out, so I didn't hesitate to use everything that was currently in my arsenal.
I purchased a white suit and dress shoes for 20c and then imbued it with magic that made it glow and sparkle for 500c from the actors wardrobe, I then bought a disco ball. When everything was bought I turned off the lighting for the stage. To the audience it was like I had disappeared. The whole center plaza of downtown got quiet with anticipation.
As the lights were off I scurried to quickly hook the disco ball up with the lighting system above. After that I willed the system to change me into the white suit I had just purchased.
After finishing things up I rushed to the mic. All of this took less than 2 minutes. I didn't turn on the lights yet and so I started to sing in the dark. Letting the crowd only hear my voice while their sense of sight was closed off aside from a very small orange tint from the harvest moon. Still it wasn't enough light to actually see anything in it. I sang slowly and softly almost in a hush unlike the songs original pace and tone.
🎶♪🎵We get it on most every night
And when that old moon gets so big, and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things alight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight🎶♪🎵
I gave silent 5 second pause.
Then all at once I sent a very small ki burst out that blew a strong wind towards the audience, had the lights hitting the disco ball and myself, which caused the whole area to light up in a multitude of colors and sparkles, and then started to sing again, only I started to sing at the songs normal pace and tone this time.
🎶♪🎵Dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight🎶♪🎵
As the chorus ended and the guitar riffed, some people started to slow dance together and some people started to dance solo. It was that kind of song. A song that almost any dance could go to as long as it wasn't too fast paced.
I saw a ghost daughter dancing with her father, a ghost woman and ghost man dancing together, a woman and her ghost husband dancing together, and many other beautiful scenes that I would never have seen in my old world. I continued.
🎶♪🎵We like our fun and we never fight
You can't dance and stay uptight
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancing in the moonlight
Dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight🎶♪🎵
In the crowd below I saw a lovely pure white skinned woman with black hair, petite body, and ample bust. She somehow had little to no ki signature, but also wasn't a ghost. Yet, she was clearly alive. She was all alone with nobody to dance with, but she was dancing in her own odd way. It was so bizarre, yet eye catching. I couldn't help but extend my hand to her. She saw the invitation and didn't think twice, she made her way up to the stage and took my hand. I continued to sing as we danced on the stage.
🎶♪🎵Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancing in the moonlight
[Chorus]
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight🎶♪🎵
After singing the rest of the song, I gave the goth looking woman a smile, walked her off the stage, and then pulled her hand to my lips and kissed her hand before speaking. "Thanks for the dance".
As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I immediately turned the lights off and willed all the instruments, stage, lights, speakers, everything except the fireworks into my system. With it being pitch black again, I made my way to my house and walked in. As soon as I closed the door, the timed fireworks outside went off one by one. They lit up the area to show I was no longer there, while also letting the people who were headed home with their ghost loved ones see the way until they got close enough to the nearby street lights.
The whole performance felt magical to all that attended it. Between seeing dead loved ones again and the seemingly mystical performance, the whole night felt like a dream to most.
As I was about to get comfortable in my house and call it a night, the system perked up.

It was worth spending coins on the performance. Maybe it was because I have done a number of performances now, but I've gotten more confident in singing the songs in my own way. I see my system as my own personal ghost writer at the moment. I also think it would be a shame if some of these songs were never sung in this world. If I didn't sing them, they would never be heard on this earth.
Many Celebs don't write their own music, but still have to put in a lot of work when it comes to the performance and how they sing the song. When I first arrived, I stuck fairly close to the original songs on how they were sung, but now I feel comfortable enough to do it my own way.
Ed Sheeran could write a song and sing it and then give the song to Taylor swift, Kanye, or any other artist and it would never sound exactly the same as the last person that sang it.
I'm extremely happy with my choice of being an indie artist, because if I had gone the route of being under a label, I would have been told how to dress, when and how to perform, what genre of music to stay within, how to act in public, and the label could also choose to change lyrics if they wanted. I didn't want to give up that creative control. As I was thinking, the system alerted me again.
