Lawrence and Kevin looked at each other. The tension in Lawrence's expression was obvious.
"Let's go."

With Kevin on his shoulder, Lawrence briskly walked and reached his car. He immediately went to the driver's seat and placed Kevin in the passenger seat. Making sure to buckle the seatbelt on his fluffy belly.
He placed his phone at his side. As he started the car, Kevin's small meat paw pad reached out and open Lawrence's contacts.
He made a direct call for Ash and Ace's phone numbers. But in each try, it always got rerouted to voicemail.
Lawrence stepped on the accelerator and drive the car to the direction of the school.
There was no sound in the inside of the car, except the automated voice message saying the person you are trying to reach is not available.
Lawrence glanced at Kevin's serious face and held his meat paw pad that keep on pressing his phone screen.
"They will not answer."
"Meow meow!"
