"Shhh, settle down." Lawrence managed to stop Kevin from eagerly rubbing his head against his jawline. But Kevin was not willing to leave Lawrence's embrace. Like a spoiled child, Kevin insisted on being cradled by Lawrence, unwilling to part.
Lawrence had no choice but to hold the little white dumpling in his arms. His face might not show it, but he was delighted inside. Lawrence stopped moving, and his eyes shifted to his side. He couldn't see them, but he knew Ash and Ace were standing right by his side. He seemed to know that they wanted to ask what he was doing here, so he explained what happened to them.
