I grudgingly turned off the alarm as i groaned loud enough to wake my little sister Amanda, who was cuddled up beside me. Its school day, I guess the weekend is over, gosh! I feel so tired i because I stayed up all night surfing the internet, forgetting its Monday tomorrow.
I reluctantly got myself up from the bed, trying not to wake Amanda up. "Aaliyah, please get Amanda prepared for school, we are running late," mom said. i groaned aloud again "Amanda, its time for school. Amanda woke up pouting and frowning, 'Is it morning yet? I raised my eyebrows at her.
At 8, she is such a cute sweetheart, mom and dad had her when they thought mum couldn't get pregnant again. the sound of utensils colliding got to my ears, so i guessed mom started on my breakfast. i and Amanda slowly prepared for school, me wearing a sweater over my white shirt and a tight trouser, I hope it doesn't bring notice to me in school; that's the last thing i want, to be noticed.
We went downstairs for some breakfast, mum made our favorite pancakes, waffles, and bacon with fruits. i grabbed an apple and bit into it savoring the juicy essence it brings.. mmmm "Yummy and succulent". "put some waffles in yours and your sisters backpacks."
'Quit treating me like a little girl, mom' I scowled, as I frowned my face". you would always be Mummy's little girl baby, even if you were so grown. My dad smiled when I said this, he gave me a kiss at the top of my head and whispered, "daddy's little princess" we all laughed as we hurried ourselves into the car to get going.
