Mr. Gregory turned towards the 7 Masters. "Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I shall now introduce the 7 Masters behind the red curtain." Mr. Gregory snapped his fingers, and the curtain was unveil. We looked up and saw the 7 Masters. Unlike Master Intel, the 7 Masters elude a murderous aura. Rona grabbed onto me and said. "Rona prefer Master Intel 'cause Master Intel smiles. They don't." I laughed and took a quick glance at Ronald. 'Oh, Ronald seems to be handling it well.' Rona whispered. "Don't touch Ronald or else he'll fall." I looked at Rona in confusion. 'Hmm? What does she mean, Ronald looks fine.' I looked at Ronald again and noticed Ronald's eyeballs were rolled back. Ronald whispered. "He'll be fine after a while." I nodded in silent, hoping Ronald is fine as what Rona said.
Mr. Gregory raised both his arms. "Now let's the official ceremony begin." Horns blew, and the crowd went wild. I squatted down and covered my ears. 'Oui... my poor ears. And why do my senses keep telling me something really bad is going to happen? One is more than enough!' Rona pulled my hand and said something, but I couldn't hear due to the loud noises everywhere. I moved closer to Rona, and she said. "Rona smells lots of meat inside those three cages." Rona sniffed. "Cat, bunny." Rona sniffed again and tilted her head. "Rona is not sure about the last one. It has different animal smells mixed inside." I pondered. "A chimaera?" Rona's mouth began to drool. "Doesn't that mean it has lots of meat? Ehehehehe..."
Creak.
Creak.
Ronald grabbed onto me and said. "Why are those iron bars rising?"
"So that they can release those monsters inside to kill us." I said it with a smile.
Ronald teared up and screamed. "Scary!!!!"
I snickered. 'It's so fun teasing him... Although what I said is true." I sweated.
Rawr!
The monsters leapt out of the cage. We looked up and saw 3 pairs of red eyes desperately finding their prey. I looked bewildered by the size of the creatures. I thought it was small, like a palm size, but it turned out to be another massive monster that's going to eat us. I grabbed Rona and shook her. "Rona, didn't you say it was a cat and a bunny?" I pointed at those humongous monsters and whispered. "Those monsters look nothing like those lovely, cute, cuddly pets that normal people raise at home. I mean, look at those baleful eyes, sharp shiny teeth that we can clearly see our own reflection on, drooling mouth and those claw! It looks like it's ready to tear us apart any second!" Rona frowned and shouted. "Rona doesn't -" Ronald and I quickly covered Rona's mouth. We slowly turned our head and saw the 3 monsters staring at us. 'Oui... This ain't good at all!'
The monsters roared. The monsters roared so loud that I was lifted off the ground and was blown away. 'Oui?' I slammed into the wall of the stadium and screamed. "Youch! That hurts!" I massaged my head and tried to push myself out, but my butt was stuck inside the wall. Rona and Ronald quickly ran towards me and tried to pull me out. The monsters charged towards us with their menacing teeth. I screamed. "Let me go, guys. They're coming!" Ronald and Rona shook their head and pulled me out of the wall as hard as they could.
Baam!
The monsters slammed into the wall, and the entire stadium was filled with dust. The crowd went silent and desperately looking for the three of us. They were wondering what happened to us after the monsters smashed into the wall. Mr. Gregory huffed and puffed and blew the dusts away. Within seconds, the dust was all cleared. Mr. Gregory looked around the stadium and couldn't see any trace of us. Mr. Gregory proudly lifted the microphone and announced that we were all dead. However, we weren't dead.
[A few seconds before the monsters slammed into the wall]
Rona and Ronald managed to pull me out of the wall. I fell with my head landing to the ground first. "Oui... My head. At this rate, I'm going to be more stupid." Rona, who fell next to me, stared at me with her innocent eyes and said. "You can be more stupid?" I rolled my eyes, then Ronald screamed. "They're here!" I looked in front, and the monsters dived straight into the wall. They missed us by a few inches.
[Back to present]
I poked the cat monster's belly. "You guys think it's dead? It doesn't seem to be struggling or anything."
Ronald touched the cat monster's body. "Body is still warm, so I can't tell."
Rona got bored while waiting. She stretched her arms and then laid on the ground. "Rona is bored." Rona rolled around the ground when suddenly, her tummy grumbled. Rona sat up, looked down at her tummy, and said. "Hmm? Rona's tummy went goo goo~" Rona rubbed her tummy. "Rona needs food~" Rona looked up at the monster's tummy and smacked her lips. "Large food!" She slowly raised her hands, trying to shove her hands into the monster's belly. Ronald turned towards Rona and screamed. "Rona! Stop!" Rona ignored Ronald and touched the monster's belly. I turned towards Rona and said. "Stop moving, or I'll shoot!" I made a finger gun and pointed at Rona. "Lower your hands, greedy pig, and no one gets hurt." Rona panicked. "Oh no, the police found me!" I glared at Rona. "That's right, the police had found ya. Now put ya hands down and let me cuff ya." Ronald stared us in confusion. "Ermm... What's going on?" I moved in front of Ronald and said. "Don't worry, innocent citizen. Officer Llyne will save ya from this vicious pig who's trying to eat up your food." Ronald gasped and looked at us in worry. "The pressure must have gotten to the both of you. I'm sorry I didn't notice." I ignored Ronald and moved closer to Ronald. "Okay, piggy. Put your hands down, nice and slow. Turn around and lay on the ground." Rona pouted, put her hands down, and laid on the ground. Rona grunted. "I'll succeed next time! Just you wait." I pretended to cuff Rona and made click click sound. I pulled Rona up and said. "With me around, that ain't gonna happen." Ronald sat far away from us and wailed. "It's hard to watch when you lost 2 best friends." Ronald placed his hands on his face and sobbed. "Why didn't I notice it sooner? I'm so stupid." Rona and I looked at each other and then looked at Ronald. "I didn't know we were such a good actor." Rona thumbed up. "We're the best!" I moved closer to Ronald and placed my hands on his shoulder and said. "Let's get out of here." Ronald looked at me and then looked at Rona. "You all are alright?" I laughed. "We were just acting. Looks real, right? We can be movie stars!" Rona jumped in between us and raised her arms up. "Best actress award goes to Rona and Lil!" Ronald laughed and said. "You can only give the award to one person." Rona looked at Ronald in daze and grumbled. "Fine. Roli, then. Hmph!" Ronald chuckled. "Shall we go now?" We nodded and headed out.
The three of us crawled out of the place. We sighed and looked at each and then at the monsters. The atmosphere was awkward between those two, so I screamed. "What the hell, man. In those superheroes shows, we always see how the enemies wait for the superheroes to power up or talk nonstop. But here, leh, the monsters just charge at us without waiting. Oui, those superheroes show are a scam!" Rona and Ronald stared at me and laughed. "Hehehe. That's true."
I smiled, I leaned on the wall and looked up. I saw Mr. Gregory holding his microphone, announcing something. I listened in closely and heard. "Unfortunately, the 3 of the survivors were crushed to death. Therefore, the ceremony will come to a closure. So -" I lifted a tiny rock I found on the ground and threw at Mr. Gregory. Mr. Gregory ignored me, so I used a bigger rock and threw at him. No matter how many rocks I threw at him, he didn't react, so I asked Rona and Ronald to find the biggest rock they could find. They looked at each other and then looked at me nervously. "Are you sure?" I clenched my fist. "Of course. I'll make that pillock know who's the boss here." Rona and Ronald found a huge rock and gave it to me. "Are you sure you can throw this thing? It's really heavy. It took me and Rona to lift it." I ignored Ronald and lifted the huge rock with both hands.
"GRRAAAH!!" I screamed and lifted the rock above my head. Rona and Ronald's jaw dropped when they saw me carrying such a huge rock by myself. I breathed out and gathered all my strength into my arms. I gripped the rock tightly and threw the rock as hard as I could at Mr. Gregory. The rock flew straight at Mr. Gregory's head. I placed my hand above my eyes and smiled. "There it go."
Boom!
The rock exploded and injured Mr. Gregory's head. Mr. Gregory cried in agony. "Who... Who did that?" He turned and looked around for the culprit in confusion. I made raised my hand and made a victory sign and chuckled. "Bullseye." Rona ran around me with both arms up and cheered. "It's a hit! It's a hit!" Ronald dropped to his knees and mumbled. "I wish Isaac was here..." Mr. Gregory raged and started screaming like a crazy lunatic. I covered my ears, pointed at the rabbit monster, and screamed. "Take shelter." Rona and Ronald nodded, and we quickly moved under the rabbit monster's body.
Ronald looked at me with worried eyes. "What now? Mr. Gregory looks super angry. You don't think he'll kill us, right?" I spat and said. "Nah. He doesn't even know we're alive. LOL!" Rona laid on the ground and said. "Rona agrees with Lil!" Ronald sighed out loud and said. "Now I know why people said life is short. Appreciate it." Ronald sobbed like a baby. Rona poked Ronald cheeks and laughed. "Ronald is such a baby." I giggled.
