The red dragon touched down on the cottage island, and Zheng hopped down the back of the fiery monster before the beast reverted to its human form. The two royals then made their way to the cave of the Dream Bison.
"Bison! My son and I are here, in your domain, again to seek your help," the emperor announced as soon as they were out of the tunnel.
The Dream Bison lay at the same corner of the cave as the last time humans visited it. It still acted nonchalantly.
The black bovine telepathically communicated with the emperor, saying, 'Your son's aura feels stronger.'
This time, the emperor didn't speak out his reply. Instead, he telepathically sent out his reply, saying, 'He has been putting in a lot of effort.'
Emperor Gerald looked at his son long enough for Zheng to lock eyes with him. The emperor nodded at the young prince.
