"Catherine."
Annette thought for a moment and called Catherine's name.
Catherine stopped and turned to look at Annette. There were still tears on her face.
"I will ask Austin if he has a position suitable for you in his company. I can introduce you to his company. Will you accept it?" Annette asked.
Catherine was stunned for a moment. "Are you serious?"
Annette nodded. "I will try my best. If it doesn't work, I will think of other ways."
"Why do you want to help me?"
"Because I don't want to feel guilty."
"Didn't you just say that you had a clear conscience?"
"Before I knew your situation, I hated what you did. After all, it is shameful to be a homewrecker. Though I couldn't agree with you about that, what you did for your family touched me. So, I am willing to help you."
Catherine choked and looked at Annette gratefully.
Annette looked at the bus coming from not far away and said, "I will leave now. I will call you when I have good news for you."
