Connor looked at Marcus calmly and said, "Go home."
"But..."
"I told you to go home."
Marcus glanced at Annette and snorted. He slammed the door and left.
Annette felt a little sad for being blamed by him.
Jessica said innocently, "Alpha Connor, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come here."
Before Connor could say anything, Annette shouted, "Enough. You should leave."
Looking at Annette's attitude, Jessica pretended to be hurt. She sighed and stood up. "Annette, I know you don't want to see me, but we are family after all."
Annette shouted, "Just leave!"
Jessica sighed and walked toward the door.
She opened the door and thought of something. "I met Mr. Goodman who I introduced to you the day before yesterday. He asked me why I hadn't picked up his call recently. He said that if he did something wrong, he could correct it. He told you not to ignore him. Annette, you are too stubborn. If you don't like him, you should refuse him directly."
