Annette was upset.
Obviously, her affection for Connor increased, and she was more and more dependent on him.
But sometimes, she could not convince herself.
What could she do to live up to their relationship and their future?
Connor leaned close to Annette and hugged her from behind.
Annette gradually fell asleep when she was thinking.
Perhaps she slept a little late last night. She woke up at eight the next morning.
Connor was not in the room.
Annette washed up and went downstairs, only to see Alina having breakfast in the dining room.
Annette felt awkward.
Dwayne saw her and greeted her respectfully, "Good morning, Ms. Hall."
"Good morning, Dwayne."
Alina turned around and looked at Annette. "Ms. Hall, you're up. Let's have breakfast together."
Annette nodded and walked to the table.
She looked around the living room but didn't see Connor.
