Hayden couldn't believe what he just heard from Sam, after all, the stories of the ruthless magical troll king!, he knew, he couldn't even stand the first try, the game was solid proof, only the skilled player or players could defeat the troll king in his kingdom. The laws implied for every King in the game. "Why did you leave them all alone? Now, who knows what may be happening to them! No! I can't settle down like this, I have to do something about this!" He placed his two hands on the chair and tried to help himself up, but as he tried harder to get up his feet, he fell to the floor, he wasn't ready to just give up yet, so then again, he attempted it again and again until he finally got up, Sam and Anthony offered their help to him, but he immediately declined their offer. "Leave me alone! You didn't help my family when you had the chance to do that, and now, you suddenly want to help me? 'No, you can't, I'll go after them by myself even if I don't make it out alive!" He yelled angrily at them while he was still on the floor. "No your majesty, I and my brother here promise to help you, but it can't be today, after all, it takes two days to flesh the troll's castle. So you have the whole night to rest for the journey ahead as I said earlier when we met. It's simply not safe to walk through the badlands if you don't know your way around here, tomorrow morning is a big day, and they will all be happy to see you!"
"Who are they? Sam, what is he talking about?" He curiously turned to Sam for answers. "Don't worry your majesty, tomorrow, you will find out more" Sam replied to his question.
Anthony went to help the king off the floor, he held one of Hayden's arms and held it across his head down to his shoulder. The both of them walked to the entrance in front of the house door, Hayden turned to Anthony as they were about to enter the house, and he asked Anthony, "Do you still think my family is alright?"
"Yes! They must be," what Sam said was right, it took two days before we could get to the kingdom of the king. Don't worry, tomorrow will be better than now, let's go in so we can rest!" He replied to the king before taking him inside the house. The following day, at dawn before sunrise Sam and Anthony had already prepared their horses for the morning. It was quite easy that one could think it was still late in the night. Hayden, who was still fast asleep, didn't know the movement was that early hour, he felt it was a move that could just take any time of the day. "Sam! Go and wake the king up. It's almost sunrise, we have to go right now! Again, have you packaged the foods we need before we go?"
"Yes, I have done that before now, the horses have been fed properly. If you don't mind, I will go and get the king. ''Anthony nodded his head and Sam went inside the house to get the king up from the bed. "My king, it's time to leave for our morning ahead, we are running out of time!" Hayden quickly heard the call from Sam and immediately, he jumped to his feet. He went to a chair where his T-shirt was placed, put it on, and followed Sam outside the house. Sam stood by the door side waiting for Hayden to walk out of it. Shortly after Hayden came out from the inside, he held the doorknob and locked the door gently, then after, he walked towards the horses alongside Hayden. Anthony had already taken the horses from the stable, he held the reins in his hand, and he gave one of the ropes and the horse to Hayden and the other to Sam.
Subsequently after, they had gotten on top of the horses and were riding to the north side of the mountains trying to avoid the road that leads to the king's castle. Behind Anthony's back, Hayden had gotten himself chatting with Sam all through the journey, he was busy inquiring about the reason why things were that bad, he wanted to know why nothing much was done when the king ascended the throne for a long period. Suddenly after Anthony had stopped moving forward with his horse, he suspected something was wrong; the ground was shaking slowly, getting closer and louder by the second. Anthony got down from his horse's back, and Sam was immediately followed by Hayden. They lay on the ground close to a mountaintop and set aside the horses from where they stayed. "What do you think it is?!?" Hayden asked Sam who was with him the whole time, but yet, Sam begged him to stay calm and silent without moving his body or making any sound that could get them cut. So now, they are in fear of being cut by whatever was there. Anthony turned to Hayden and Sam, he used his hand to touch the shoulder of Hayden so he could gain his attention to join him up the side of the mountain to get a better view of what was happening down there. "Ahh. Ahh!" Someone running cried out loudly. A troll was on the trail while a woman who tried running for her life, she had struggled to get off their grip while she ran through different channels of escape from an ogre too. However, they were mythical creatures that would track the scent of a human body. Hayden couldn't understand why the trolls needed a woman, it makes no sense to him, he was yet to find out exactly what they needed. However, the young woman ran until she fell on the ground helplessly trying to catch her breath. One of the trolls with staff made himself appear in front of the young woman, he used his magical stuff to slowly lift the woman off the ground and bring her down and up until she was dead with blood all over her body and her neck split apart from her head. Immediately right in front of Hayden and the others, the woman was set ablaze and her parts shared among themself, the blood of the woman ran down their hands and throats as they aggressively ate her until they weren't any more flesh to devour.
"It's now or never!—..."
