"Can you tell me now, where do we have to go and why? What is going on?" Dazai asked.
"To the place where there was the blast because my beloved friend might be roasted to ashes there. Happy?" Ash asked. Dazai knew better than to argue with angry Ash. He knew that Ash was too young to be bearing all this. That's why he was always patient with her. Sometimes, they both wondered how they would have been living if they hadn't walked on this already paved path, if only they had paved a path on their own. There was awkward silence in the car. Dazai sped it up.
"There's still smoke." Dazai spoke as he parked the car in a corner, leaving a safe distance between the "do not enter" tape and themselves.
"Huh?" Ash said as she was clearly interrupted from her thoughts,"We are here. OK." she said as she wiped a tear from her eye.
"Careful," Dazai said to Ash, who was about to trip as soon as she exited the car.
"I will be." Anna replied as she crossed the line. No one was there now.
"It looks like no one is here. They must be at their house. I don't know why she came here. Did I make her too mad. I don't know when will I be able to meet her again. It must be my fault. I was supposed to be her best friend. I was supposed to know when she was upset. I should have known she didn't want to come to the academy because she must have a reason. I should have known. Ash, you should have known. I don't know how to make myself believe that you are me without being disgusted." Ash told herself.
"No one here. Should we go to their house?" Dazai asked, ducking to avoid the tape as he entered the burnt territory.
"No. Let's just go. She needs rest. I know it. I know she is okay, but just a bit traumatised. Right? You know it too. I know you know." Ash replied.
"You need rest too. let's just go."
"Amhm." Ash nodded as she walked towards the car.

"What should we do?"Anna asked Hazel, " Can't go back to class. She'll make us stand outside."
"Don't you think that we deserved to die instead of all those who died because of us?" Hazy indirectly pointed her words to Rose.
"Seriously!" Anna said, getting annoyed," I don't agree."
"But I we should at least go and check if she is really dead."
"She can't be dead."
"What now!" Hazy asked as Anna was clearly winning in turning the table around, making Hazy annoyed.
"I know Rose, and I know my father. Rose can't be caught that easily. She must have run off to somewhere and hid. I trust her to listen to my advice." Anna said with a smirk," Why so confused? It's simple. I gave her an anonymous tip to be extra careful today and not come to the academy. That's why she didn't come here. Her house has a good security system, but because she is so suspicious, I doubt that's her house. She has her story. I'll try to get it out of her as a gratitude for saving her."
"You know you are a bitch. Karma will get you real bad." Hazy lazily commented and left Anna alone by going to risk standing outside the class.
