Chapter 3 - Uncovering the Unknown

Ty and Rian called for a meeting with the rest of the royal council, eager to share their concerns about the approaching threat. As they recounted what they had seen and felt on the outskirts of the kingdom, the others listened with growing apprehension.

"We need to act fast," one council member said. "We can't just sit here and wait for this unknown danger to hit us."

"Agreed," another added. "But we need more information. We can't prepare for a battle if we don't know who or what we're up against."

The council deliberated for hours, strategizing and brainstorming ways to gather more intelligence about the impending threat. In the end, they decided to send out scouts to the surrounding regions, hoping to uncover any clues about what was happening.

Ty and Rian volunteered to lead the scouting mission, eager to get a first-hand look at the situation. They gathered their most skilled warriors and set out on horseback, determined to find answers.

As they rode through the countryside, they noticed that the land looked different than it had before. The trees were twisted and gnarled, and the once-lush fields were barren and lifeless. It was as if a dark shadow had fallen over everything.

After several days of searching, Ty and Rian's scout team finally discovered a small village that had been almost entirely destroyed. The villagers were afraid and traumatized, but they managed to share some information about the enemy that had attacked them.

"It was like nothing we've ever seen before," one villager said. "They were creatures of darkness, with eyes that glowed red and claws that could tear through steel."

Ty and Rian exchanged a look, realizing that their kingdom was facing an enemy they had never encountered before. They knew they had to return to the castle and share this information with the council.

As they rode back, Ty and Rian knew that the situation was worse than they had feared. The enemy was not just a natural disaster or a marauding army. It was something far more sinister and dangerous. But armed with this new knowledge, they were determined to do everything in their power to protect their people and their land from this unknown threat.
