Inside a near pitch black training hall, a certain young lady was creeping her way forward towards a door. She stood just outside the entrance, then she stuck her head through the door and peeked into the room, looking around to see if anyone could spot her. And just hovering above her was something that looked like a miniature lady, a little larger than a human's fist. Although this one also had tiny wings and two large fangs on the front of her face.
"Did you spot anyone Salle?" The young lady asked.
'No, but are you really sure we should be doing this, you could get kicked out of the Castle or worse, get yourself killed?" The little flying lady replied, fluttering around in the air.
"As if that could ever happen. I am also her daughter, I don't think mom care that much about us ." The young lady then walked into the large hall with Salle following in the air closely behind her.
With her majestic white hair and her dark clothing it was nearly impossible to spot her at night, but there was one distinctive thing that stood out about the lady, it would allow you to see her in the dark even if you were quite a distance away. It was her glowing white hair, which gave the her away as a Revenant.
Her name was Celesta, and today she had come to the hall inside her family's castle for one reason, to go to the human world.
On her back, she carried a relatively large backpack, packed with all sorts of things, After all, she didn't know how long she would be visiting the human world for, or how well the being she was visiting missed her or if she would get rejected.... again.
Come on Salle, hurry up."
"Wait, I think I hear someone!" Salle said.
Just as Salle said it, the sound of footsteps could be heard. Celesta quickly looked around the hall which was filled with square-shaped machinery on the floor, each spaced an equal distance from each other, the gap between each one was quite far.
Quickly rummaging through her backpack, she pulled out what looked like a blue stone. "Come on, where is it, She kept darting around with inhuman speed and a door will appear at a random position before shattering into nothingness" But the nerves were getting the better of her, and her fingers fumbled as she dropped the piece of stone onto the floor.
"Celesta there right there!" The lady said now visibly sweating.
"Well, let's just hope I don't end up somewhere too bad!" Celesta then rushed over to one of the door materialising next to the stone on the floor and tapped on top of the Imperix. A bright display lit up, asking for an access code.
"Please input the correct access code for your destination."
She closed her eyes and tried to remember one of the numbers from the blue stone, but she struggled to remember which one led to where but then an idea hit her, a silver jade blade formed on her hand leaving a trail of white sparks, she split her left hand and place it on the Imperix.
" This should take me to her". Celesta mumbled.
Acess code accepted."
The contraption started to open, and ethereal sounds could be heard.
From the hallway, one of the guards who was roaming could hear the sounds coming from the room. 'Is someone using the teleporters, I don't remember an outing planned for today?' The man thought.
He quickly ran into the room, and just then, he could see Celesta standing in front of a pulsating rift .
" Celesta what are you doing? Don't go in!" the man shouted.
Celesta turned around and looked up at the man.. of course, it was Odenard.. The warrior that she saved.. other guards won't try to stop her, their job is just to report what they saw to Mother.
*PHEW*
What a relief!..... at least it wasn't one of my siblings, I would have been treated like a punching bag or worse.
She gave him a huge smile ..... She grabbed Salle and jumped backwards into the teleport circle. Once Celesta had gone through, the machine had automatically closed down on its own.
"I knew Lady Celesta always did crazy things, but this has just gone too far." The man said. "I must report this to the Queen immediately."
Meanwhile, inside the teleporter, Celesta mind was being distorted, and all she could see around her was darkness....True darkness.
" Salle, you need to transform, the humans will have a fit if they see you flying above me!"
A puff of purple smoke appeared around Salle. When the purple smoke went away, Salle now look like a human teenager..... She was naked.
Celesta quickly waved her hands and a white dress covered Salle's body.
Just then the pure darkness around her seemed to end, and now something felt like it was dragging her through to the other side.
When Celesta had opened her eyes, she found herself in a large dome-like building with digital signs going all across the walls showing all sorts of advertisements. But the biggest one of them all was one that said welcome to Solaris.
Celesta was currently inside what was known as a Region station on Earth. In the centre of was a large circular device that glowed a bright white colour and every so often people would appear from it.
Several different people were coming through, some wearing building equipment, others in suits, and some were even Mercenaries. Region stations are found in the ten regions of Earth New Yukon, Solaris, Skytopia, Metropolis, New Shanghai, Aqua nova, Nexia, Cyerpolle, Cosmos, and Persia.. Only the rich use region station as it allows you to travel from region to region.. it was made by Anita the Queen witch, so it's basically easier for Royal demons to use this things and now that she decided to go into the sleep, her only daughter Lithuania is a walking puppy for the Royale.
There were two types of Region stations, an arrival station and a departure station. The departure stations were usually filled with all types of checks. Region stations owned by the private, if it didn't meet a certain standard, then it would simply be put out of commission.
And of course, at each of these stations was an access code that needed to be imputed. This access code was usually given to only a couple of rich folks cause the amount will make your legs weak.
Celesta couldn't help but stare around and look in amazement at the place.
"Can you believe it Salle!" Celesta said. "We made it, and there are so many humans. They look nearly the same as us, although there are some incredibly ugly ones." Celesta said a little too loud.
The people around her started to give Celesta strange looks as they heard her say those words, but at the same time, they couldn't help staring at her... both of them... Their unworldly appearance...As they stare at the beauties, they could feel a certain charm pulling them in.
"Celesta, you need to suppress your abilities, Your hair looks too ethereal" Salle said.
"Oh that's right, I nearly forgot!" Celesta closed her eyes and focused, letting the aura that was surrounding her body shrink inside herself.
Unlike the departure station, the arrivals station didn't have much security checks, apart from a few guards who stood by the doors to the exit. After all the checks were done on the other end and only when they sure it was safe, the person will be allowed into the region.
There were also several people that seemed to be waiting for their loved ones.
Celesta headed for the exit as if she didn't have a worry in the world, but just as she reached the exit, she could see the doors to the outside where the sun was glaring.
She closed her eyes and took one step out into region From the region station, she was able to see the edge far away in the distance and the name of the city she was in "Cladure"... Everyone region have countless cities.
The city was surrounded by a large wall that was nearly taller than all the skyscrapers around them. On the buildings, there were also several holographic advertisements for different things but what she kept seeing the most, where either Clans recruiting people to join their faction or the Government promising to take care of kids below the age of 20... Kids that are yet to challenge the Heaven Trial.
" Humans after all these years.... Selfish Peasants. "
After walking a while, Celesta decided to stop by what looked like a food shop. She saw a man walk out with a bag full of food and drinks.
'Perhaps I can get this thing called Vodka, the drink she was talking about, from this shop.' Celesta thought.
As she went inside, she started to look around the shop in the drinks section for an item labelled as Vodka. However, she noticed while she was walking around in the shop that others would still continually look at her.
"My hair is still not white and pulsating right Salle?" Celesta asked.
Yes, and I can no longer feel you're presence."
"It must just be my natural good looks then."
After ignoring the people giving her sideway glances, she had eventually found the drink labelled as Vodka.
She grabbed a random bottle and rushed over to the counter, waiting for her turn.
"I would like to purchase this please," Celesta said as she started to get out her money card.
"ID please." The counter clerk asked.
"ID?" Celesta, was confused. Unknown to her every citizen of Earth was required to carry around an ID. If Celesta had been a little scarier maybe a high witch must have helped with such things.
"How old are you, kid?" The clerk said as he looked Celesta over from head to toe with unbridled lust in his eyes.
'One thousand Six hundred and sixty seven, can I not purchase this drink then, I have the money," Celesta said, with an innocent smile on her face.
"No, of course, you can." The clerk said, smiling as he proceeded with the payment as usual.
" But you have to give an additional payment so you can continue with your evasion... that's if you know what I mean.
Celesta took the drink and left the shop..This made the clerk face heat up, the clerk immediately opened up his screen and dialled the number 020. "Hello, I'd like to report someone on DeN street... yeah Cladure city, it looks like a Master who is committing Draft evasion... Black hair... gelled back... black Old world garment. She
didn't seem to have an ID on her either.
