All humans could not do what she did, even most vampires could not. In the time of old there was one race who could and would do it. The demons did it quite often. Most races could still feel pain. They could do it but the seer pain would drive them either crazy or dead. The demons however had no pain receptors, so they could do it without fail. The vampires had about 10% who had no pain receptors. The other 90% of vampires and all other races had the pain receptors.
While all the races could only remember age 5 and up, Hana was different. From the moment she opened her eyes she remembers everything she saw, from the moment she was out of the womb she could hear everything, and she could feel and smell everything from womb and the outside. Hana could even smell and feel everything even when first created. She was also born different in the sense she could not feel pain.
She also had no emotions from birth, even when people were killed in front of her eyes she felt nothing. She has felt love twice in her life time and anger once thats it, nothing else. Even when in love she did not know what it was.
The elder of each race saw this and took hana away, in the dead of night on her third birthday they killed her parents and took hana to a remote lab. They wanted what she had, they wanted zero pain. So they experimented, from her third birthday until age sixteen all hana did was get needles in her, get injected with weird liquids, get cut, stabbed, wake up in her own blood, watched people die, and many many more. The elders, after thirteen years of experimentation, found out how to make peoples pain receptors turn off.
After they got what they wanted they tried to discard hana as they call it. They tried everything to kill her, nothing worked. The normal means to kill a vampire did not work. They tried stabbing in the heart, garlic, poison, and beheading. Nothing worked, her heart healed and her head would start to come back from neck to hair. They tried every poison she was immune to them all, and garlic would burn but not kill.
Since they could not kill her, they decided to redo aspects of her memories. They would go into her mind and go through her memories and erase and replace some of her memories. All those who went in her mind would go in spiritually and their body would go limp and be monitored. It was basically like you were in a coma you body is on a bed non-reacted and your mind is somewhere else.
The problem came when they entered Hana's mind, her mind was like a broken scattered jigsaw puzzle. Some parts were ok while others were missing and other memories were different. Those memories were different in the sense that, another person still in the memorie remembered it differently. The memorize that were missing, were memories she locked away because she did not want to remember.
Hana's mind was very different from other minds. In her mind there were booby traps. If she did not want you to go to a certain area, snakes or spikes would appear to deter you. If you continued those snakes or spikes would kill your mind in turn killing your body. There were many attempts to erase and redo Hana's memories, none were successful. They continued trying for 2 years.
Each race has a category of powers, some more dangerous than others. Demons had two categories. One was the ability to tell if some one is lying or telling the truth. The other category was shapeshifting, they could shapeshift in to a male, female, child, and adult form. The vampire had 2 categories. The first was mind, with this you can control your and others mind. The second category is erase, you can erase someone's existence and make it to were no one even knew them or rememores them. Fairies just had 1 category called element. They can control the elements, from the earth, water, ice, fire, day, night, and the stars. Angels had 2 categories. They could open portals and shine a light. The light would burn those who did wrong and go away on those who did good. The spirit were a rare race and had no powers and were the only ones not to. At 16 you get your powers although there are rare instances you have them at birth. Most have one category, there were a select few who had more than one. But to have more than one was rare.
Hana had hers since birth, just never told anyone. Hana had erase and mind. And at 18 she got angry for the first time and erased all the workers in the lab along with all elders. She then got out and destroyed the building.
