The school compound was now filled with students because it was the end of today's lessons so every one was moving freely around the compound, even some couples were dating, some students who purposely came to study were in staff rooms baby sitting teachers trying so hard to be their favourite and others were already making up random groups as expected. These groups were mostly for dancers and rappers, others were just following the school volleyball club. Volleyball was the best sports game of this school, and according to Job, it was not only this school but the whole of community schools too.
So on the sports wing as usual, viewers were mostly on the volleyball playground and some at the football playground. The likes of basketball viewers were rarer so cheerleaders were on the volleyball playground preparing themselves for the community tournaments which will be held in this term at school. This tournament was going to be different from the usual ones as it contained two games, volleyball and netball.
Leaving alone the the sports stuff, my gaze fell on the school's garden where couples used to sit, it was near the school library so it was quite big in area and always quiet that's why maybe many couples liked it. The only bad thing was that it was located in the same area where the Medial Grade's ICT lab was located too. This made it not so safe for most couples because sometimes lecturers used to interrupt their peace but still no one used to stay in areas near that lab as it brought too much attention and even though some still decided to be just near it, they cared less about the lecturer interference since it really didn't matter that much to them.
But this time I was so surprised to see Klara talking this much, she even seemed to be very happy by the looks of it, carelessly laughing out loud in that public area with a boy! She was everything but not like this.
'Even her ex-boyfriend never made her laugh this midnlessly, who is this funny to pull out laughters from her.' Klara's back blocked Habibah's view of seeing the reason to her mood but due to her deep anxiety, she decided to give it a visit since they were not so far from her.
Habibah was just inside a tall building that she used to come to in mission of resting her mind and take a clear view of things happening at school from the rooftop of the building.
Despite the seemingly unending stairs, Habibah finally manage to escape from the building and slowly walked in the direction of the school garden.
.....
"Can I ask you some question, if you don't mind, its a bit personal ofcourse." Kevan had quite a good chat with Klara and he finally approved of her being a total opposite of that cold and detected girl, Habibah though this sudden feeling of their familiarity dessipated not.
Despite her mature looks, Klara never looked down on a fresher like him yet, she was just in her last her in the Pity Calf wing.
"If its not about studies, you can say it out. I know my personal stuff and I don't think you know any of them either so how did you know that what you are going to ask is personal to me?" Yeah, Klara did not say anything about her personal life so she didn't believe that Kevan will really have such a question.
"Alright, I guess your talking about facts but I will still ask you anyway. You will know if its personal or not just with your answer." Seeing Kevan's serious expression on his face, Klara nodded in reply.
"What is the relationship between you and Habibah?" Kevan finally couldn't help but ask, he was wondering why the two looked so familiar yet at the same time, they looked very or completely different. There was not such a coincidence in life to happen and in the same school.
These two girls had something in common just he didn't know what exactly. His suspicions were raised just when Habibah met him with her just back then at the school kitchen grounds. On the way Klara kept calm in Habibah's presence, Kevan would be foolish to not understand that she was not a single bit afraid of her. He even suspected them to be on the same grounds but just that he couldn't find that reason why yet.
Kevan believed that they had some connection that he couldn't grasp tmso despite knowing that it is stupid to ask about Habibah, he dared to ask at last.
He was still waiting for her reply but instead, she stood up and turned her back to him before walking away without saying a word leaving Kevan speechless.
"Ohh boy, what I have just asked seemed so personal, so so personal! " Kevan even used three continuous "so" words as his suspicions were raised yet to another realm. With her sudden departure, Kevan didn't bother following her but smiled at her disappearing back instead.
"And what's thst thing you dared to ask?" A familiar voice came from the back forcing Kevan to turn up to it curiously.
Habibah came from the back talking to me near my ear.
'This beautiful witch! Her scent is so strong yet decent that it made Klara's recent scent disperse!' Kevan couldn't help but sigh at Habibah's beauty.
"What I dared to ask is.... actually none of your business!" After some short silence of thoughts, Kevan replied carelessly.
Habibah was surpringly not pissed at all as she gave her orders, "Since the school is at the top of the mountain, its usually cold at night so I will need some tea in the preps. Make sure you bring it in time."
"OK" Kevan answered shortly before taking the same direction that Klara used recently.
"Hold it.." Hearing her plead, Kevan stopped, turned around and asked her coldly, "What is it this time?"
Habibah was about to respond but Kevan raised his hand in a stop and proceeded, "Even if you don't remind me, I already know since one of your lackeys, Momo, told me almost everything some time back." With a pause, Kevan proceeded ounce again not caring about Habibah's bewildered face.
" You want some escorts on your tea, your tea must be warm not but not hot or cold. Your flask must be washed and dried completely before storing your tea inside it but that's not a big deal because you will be having a new flask this time round, and by the way, also I should not put a lot of sugars in your tea, is there anything else?...my lady!" Kevan asked mockingly.
"Yep." She replied.
"what is it, wash your legs or carry you on my back." Kevan was implying that she was really making this a big deal seriously treating him like a slave.
"Firstly, you don't need to talk to me like that again and secondly..." Habibah took out an art book from her bag and passed it Kevan me before and while he opened it with curiosity, she ounce again proceeded.
"Thanks for the sketch, these good marks are all because of your perfect sketching and because of you, I will be joining the Top Grade Wing for my lectures in art. Your sketch was....indeed so perfect" Habibah paused in her words as if she was looking for a good term to define her meaning of all these.
I looked casually on the picture before handing her the art book.
"Alright princess, apologies! I wont be talking to you like that again, so may I leave!" Kevan even politely bowed with his fists as the old legendary Chinese martial arts master in films just to show his respect towards her, this was all not intended but just perfection in mockery.
"You can come with me every Monday to the LEADING wing for art studies, their art experience is far better than our Calf wing. Of course is you don't feel like it, I will still won't force you in this so it is simply up to you." Kevan didn't know Habibah for that long but he atleast knew that small part about her. She was a very calculative girl who doesn't lose out on anything so with this exaggerated request, Kevan would be a fool to not tell that she was after something but it would be a joke if he, Kevan believed in her gratitude.
This morning, she was very much in mission of making him arrested and yet now, just because of a simple sketch despite of it being a little bit alive, she is trying to make friends with me as if nothing happened like she even forgot about the absurd slaps that she received not mentioning the shame from the obvious glares of the public. Kevan knew for sure that this girl was just too much when it came to schemes so how could he ever trust someone like that again?
"Am just a Fresher in my early stage of Medial Grade, how would a pitiful loner like me dare to move into the Top Grade Wing. Even if I can, I am really not interested right now." This time, Kevan sounded so polite and it was like these words were from the bottom of his heart yet, he was just putting on a show not to make her feel like he saw through what she was planning.
After his polite speech, he did not waste anymore and just left like that without adding on a thing on his words.
"Not interested, your playing wise skipping this trap but I just hope you don't disappoint me and even skip this other one too, huh!" Habibah sneered at his disappearing back though she was still surprised by Kevan's suspicions about her words.
...
It was time for dinner as many students used to have it inside the DH (Dinning Hole) just after preparing for the night preps. Just like the 'Γ la carte dinner, it was served at exactly 6:30 pm so students had to pick their already served food from the serving table before sitting to presented seats with a table inbetween the two opposite bench-seats in rows and columns respectively.
This food wasn't that great but compared to my First Grade, this was like a paradise so enjoying it with friends like Job and Ganja who were even reminding me of so much about this school, like the staff, the do-not-mess-with gangs in our Wing and others from the Top Grade Wing made the atmosphere even more cinematic to me.
I even asked much that I didn't know and Job this short fellow seemed to know alot about this Blava town as he patiently explained everything in brief.
"This is the largest hall of the school I guess." Kevan appreciated since it was even hard for him to see the end to it from the position he was sitting in.
"Nara, but it's the second largest anyway just after the Main Hall since it the place which holds all the prepared occasions at school like parties since they are the only thing that joins the two Wings together."Job corrected ounce again.
"It seems students from the Top Grade Wing usually have dinner with the Calves usually!"[1] Kevan couldn't help but ask after taking sight of so many students with a more gentle dressing than that of the Calf Wing.
"Yeah, at times just that this time... I don't know why they are way too much in the Hall." Job was also wondering so he stopped eating and looked around maybe looking for a reason to this sudden visit of Top Grade students.
"Don't bother thinking a lot Job, its simply because someone slapped Shabs on her petty face this morning, news travel. We are all here this many today just to see that cocky ballsy guy who thinks that because he has power, he is free to abuse the weak even slapping girls roughly. He doesn't give a sh*t at whoever he insults." An angry voice which seemed to be listening to their chat from the start raged from Ganja and Job's backs yet without turning back, their faces became truly ugly with prayers of a 'God knows' reason.
"Rocky" Ganja and Job blurted at the same time, yet scared frankly after after turning around and witnessing the person at their backs.
[1] Since their wing was nicknamed as The Calf Wing, Kevan just called the Calves refering to their huge number or plural form of it
