Marcy headed downstairs in a hurry changing to her normal, 'I am so concerned face.'
On getting downstairs, Marcy had expected to see Amelia there so that the show would be more interesting with the victim being ousted out completely.
"Mom!" Marcy cried out aggrieved, "Mom, I think something is wrong with sister." Marcy cried out with tears pooling her eyes.
"What happened to you?" Mrs Johnson asked concerned thinking Amelia had done something to hurt Marcy.
When Marcy heard that question she secretly smirked, now it is time to spill the beans.
Opening her mouth to say everything without a second thought, "Mom, I think Sister Amalia had lost it, I heard her talking to some body that was not there with and the worst part of it all is that the other person voice is that of a man, it most be that man's voice I have been hearing for the past few days, what are going to do about sister, what if the man tries to hurt her?" Marcy said with a grieved look on her face.
"What happened? why are you not saying anything?" Mrs Johnson worried voice sounded making Marcy to crease her brows, did the woman not hear all that she said just now.
Maybe I was not loud enough, Marcy thought and repeated what she had said earlier again in a louder voice than usual.
"What happened? can you not speak, is this Amalia's doing?" Mrs Johnson asked confused, she could see clearly that Marcy was trying to tell her something but it was not just coming out from her.
"No, I can speak just fine." Marcy said confused why Mrs Johnson was not hearing her.
"If you can speak just fine, then why are you not saying anything about what happened?" Mrs Johnson asked seeming to have heard Marcy this time around.
Again, Marcy repeated what she heard between Amelia and the devil but none of the words got out no matter how she tried but if it was an unrelated subject it came out just fine.
Unable to keep on repeating the same words over and over again, Marcy headed to her room in a daze, why could she not say it, she had heard everything clearly but she could say it, why?
Marcy had finally gotten the chance to eliminate Amelia but it was all gone now, in her anger and frustration, Marcy turned to her vanity table clearing everything that was on the table to in ground.
The sounds of glass shattering on the floor sound and the shards flew about, with one of it giving Marcy a slight cut on her face.
Marcy looked straight into the mirror glaring at herself and repeated the discussion between she had heard earlier, Marcy seemed to hear herself clearly but telling others was the problem.
A thought flashed her head as she hurriedly went to look for pen and paper to write it down, maybe it would work out.
Marcy focused as she wrote her hearts out, finally she could do this, but as soon as she finished writing, all the ink had disappeared.
The paper was plain like it was never written upon without a trace of ink on it even Marcy who wrote on the paper started doubting if she ever did.
Unable to take it laying down, Marcy rewrote the words again this time carefully and patiently, maybe it was just an illusion or the work of Amalia, Marcy thought.
After finishing the writing, Marcy stared at the paper to see the loophole and know how the ink had disappeared earlier on, but once again it was gone without a trace and instead writings with blood as it's ink appeared on the paper, 'Mind your own business' The words said.
Fear filling her heart, Marcy let out a shriek that alerted the whole house.
Everyone came rushing but all Marcy could do was hug knees as she rocked back and forth on her bed.
Mr and Mrs Johnson saw the mess on the floor and wondered what had happened in the room, they asked Marcy but she was mum and did not say anything despite their probing.
Marcy wanted to say everything that happened but she could not, it was like a heavy force held her lips to prevent her from talking, it was painful and the same time scary, tears stringed her eyes as she looked at Mr and Mrs Johnson.
For the very first time without her acting, Marcy tears dropped as she tried as much as possible to talk, but even if she talked what evidence does she have.
No one would believe her because the blood was already gone from the paper and the sheet was as white as snow.
"Marcy, dear what is wrong with you?" Mrs Johnson asked with fear in her heart, she had never seen her daughter like this before what could have happened to her within the short period she left the sitting room.
Marcy eyes turned red as she heard Mrs Johnson voice, she wanted to cry out, she saw something disturbing but she could not talk and even if she was able to talk there was no evidence to back it up, everyone would think she is crazy and was delusional.
Seeing Marcy scared face, Mrs Johnson heart ached as she pulled her into a hug and dragged the stoned faced Mr Johnson into the hug too sending him a glare, with much reluctance Mr Johnson joined in the hug patting Marcy's back awkwardly.
Even though at first she was comforted by her parents hug, soon her face turned ashen as she saw a figure at the door way looking at her with a dark red eyes and a evil smile wide on his face that made Marcy feel like ants were crawling on her skin.
Unable to notice the change in Marcy's face due to the hug and the man behind them too, Mr and Mrs Johnson felt Marcy was already feeling a little better.
The disgusting figure gave a zipped lips sign to Marcy before widening his smile the more with a mischievous look in his eyes exiting the room whistling.
Before Mr and Mrs Johnson could separate from the hug, Marcy eyes had already rolled to the back of her eyes and she had already fainted.
