"What's going on here? Lu Ming, are you getting married without letting me know?" A booming voice sounded.
The man entered the golf course with a goofy smile on his face. Everyone else were basically gathered together to watch the show so it was a bit awkward when the man entered.
Qiao Anxin looked behind the man who had spoken. As expected the person she had come here for was behind him. Lu Ming.
"Ehn, what happened? Why did everyone go quiet? I thought someone wanted to seduce Lu Ming?" Mu Zichen, the man who had walked in with Lu Ming asked.
No one dared to say anything to Mu Zichen. Although his reputation wasn't as bad as Lu Ming's, it wasn't anything to write home about. As Lu Ming's good buddy and the only heir of the Mu family, Mu Zichen had some fame himself. No one wanted to offend Mu Zichen, because that would mean going against the Mu family and subsequently Lu Ming. No one dared to say anything much less answer Mu Zichen's question.
Qiao Anhao and everyone else weren't expecting Lu Ming to show up at this function out of the blue.
For Qiao Anhao however, this was a rare opportunity to embarrass Qiao Anxin and put her in her place.
"Young Mater Mu, please don't be angry, my sister was just joking around. She really didn't mean it when she said that she is going to seduce Young Master Lu. Isn't that right sister?"
Qiao Anhao asked as she turned to Qiao Anxin. Her words were basically giving Qiao Anxin away and explaining what happened.
Everyone else could tell what Qiao Anhao was doing but no one wanted to get involved.
Lu Ming's cold eyes landed on Qiao Anxin who seemed unbothered about the whole situation.
She had a strange confidence in her eyes, as if the entire situation was under her control. He was really looking forward to how she will handle the situation.
"Hey isn't this CEO Qiao? I had no idea that you had your eyes on our Ming!" Mu Zichen said mockingly. Mu Zichen had always had a wicked tongue. He never gave anyone face.
Shen Yu saw that the situation was bad for Qiao Anxin and he regretted that he could not set up fireworks immediately. He could however make the situation even more worse.
"CEO Qiao was so serious about it, I don't think that she was joking though" Shen Yu said. He wanted the arrogant Qiao Anxin to learn a lesson.
Lu Ming looked at the woman who was still smiling confidently. He was really looking forward to how she will handle the entire situation.
"You are going to seduce me?" Lu Ming finally spoke up for the first time.
Qiao Anxin smiled charmingly. "I don't remember saying anything like that though. I said that I like men like Lu Ming when does that translate to wanting to seduce him?"
Qiao Anxin asked. She, Qiao Anxin had never had to chase a man in her life. Although she is interested in Lu Ming, he will be the one to do the chasing not her.
Qiao Anhao was quiet as she tried to remember the words that Qiao Anxin had said. She realized that Qiao Anxin had never said anything about seducing Lu Ming.
She just said that she liked men like Lu Ming then she just simply watched as she and Shen Yu took her words out of context.
Qiao Anhao clenched her fists tightly together. She realized that she has been played again by Qiao Anxin.
Shen Yu however still had no idea that he has been used. Instead he was still thinking of humiliating Qiao Anxin.
"Don't be so shameless Qiao Anxin. Even if you did not say that you are going to seduce him, that's what you meant right?" Shen Yu asked.
"Second Young Master Shen, I had no idea that you know my thoughts so well. I just said that men like Lu Ming are my type. I simply meant that I admire him as a person. How does that translate to me wanting to seduce Lu Ming?" Qiao Anxin asked.
"You…..you are just lying!" Shen Yu started to realize that the situation was no longer in his favor and he panicked.
Someone who was a friend of Shen Yu's father could not continue to watch Shen Yu make a fool of himself and he stepped in. "That's right. CEO Qiao just meant that she admired Lu Ming. That's all" The man said.
Lu Ming suddenly smiled. He had wondered how she was going to deal this. He just never expected that she will deny it all so righteously. This woman, she's really interesting…..
"It seems like I have to thank Miss Qiao for admiring me then" Lu Ming said.
He had come to this stupid function because of Mu Zichen. He had never expected to meet an interesting woman like Qiao Anxin here.
Actually, Lu Ming had heard about Qiao Anxin before. City B was only so big after all. He had heard stories about her but he never paid any attention to them. The first time they met, not only did not disappoint him, she even exceeded his expectations.
But....he had never met her personally before, so why does she feel so familiar to him?
"As long as Mr. Lu doesn't feel uncomfortable, it's my pleasure" Qiao Anxin said.
Then she turned and walked away. This officially ended the farce that Qiao Anhao and Shen Yu had created.
Qiao Anxin knew that Lu Ming was watching as she walked away. This was the effect she wanted. For him to be intrigued by her on their first meeting. Everything else will fall into place soon.

Qiao Anxin walked out of the female's restroom. She had achieved her aim here today and she was thinking of leaving this place.
She just never expected to see Chen Yucheng leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette.
Qiao Anxin only cast a glance at Chen Yucheng before she looked away, fully intending to ignore him. However, Chen Yucheng grabbed her arm. "Do you have to go this far?"
