Yan Wenkai and Wentao were worn down by Daohua and ultimately nodded in agreement to take her to meet Xiao Yeyang.
"How are you going to explain this to the family? It's snowing now, and your mother and grandmother will never agree to let you go out," Yan Wenkai couldn't help but gloat.
Daohua gave him a sidelong glance, "That's none of your business, I have my ways." After saying this, she took a deep breath and strode towards the old lady.
Yan Wenkai and Wentao watched her whisper a few words in the old lady's ear, and in a short while, the old lady nodded her head, leaving them both greatly surprised.
When Daohua walked out of the old lady's room, she couldn't help but press her palms together and murmured something under her breath. Yan Wenkai leaned in a few steps closer and heard her muttering something about 'grandma please don't blame me.'
"Big brother, what are you doing?"
Daohua glared at Yan Wenkai, who was leaning over and eavesdropping on her conversation.
