Daohua's mood inexplicably lifted upon hearing such a boyfriend-power-packed statement. She gave Xiao Yeyang a sidelong glance, let her feet dangle in the air, and started to swing on the swing set, laughing to herself.
Seeing this, Xiao Yeyang set the wine jar he was holding onto the ground, then stood behind Daohua to help push the swing.
Daohua looked back at him and after a moment of thought, said, "I thought after you returned, you would first go and pay your respects to Madam Guo and Madam Jiang."
Xiao Yeyang replied with an indifferent tone, "Since they are now living in the Ningmen Prefecture, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet in the future. There's no rush for this moment."
Daohua's eyes rolled playfully, and she teased, "Don't you want to go see your two cousins, as beautiful as flowers and as fair as jade?"
