"Malum Jynutr." the Master had said for all the chiefs to hear.
It had come as quite a surprise to all the chiefs, Malum included, but his mien was one of joy and gratefulness.
"I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to follow in your footsteps." Malum said, standing up and giving a bow to the Master.
"And why did you choose him?" Lumian asked, his voice subtly laced with anger.
"Because the Melynxs need a leader who will fight for them when the time comes and it is against the rules to select someone from your own bloodline as the next Master. You know this. Do you think I would break the rules for you? And watch your tone when you speak to me."
"When will the ceremony take place?" Trea asked. "The ceremony to make Malum the new Master."
"It will take place immediately." the Master answered. "Preparations have already begun and the people have been made aware that a new Master is to be appointed. Everyone will gather in the castle grounds shortly and a projection of the entire ceremony will be shown all over Vaxoryn. I hope you are ready for this Malum Jynutr. You will become Master and access the fourth gear today."
The meeting had ended and every chief had gone back to the respective houses of their regal families. Lumian was fuming and was aggressively breaking things in his house. He let out his energy through his mouth and it came out as a red beam which broke through everything, including the wall of the house.
He stopped himself before he completely destroyed the house and he composed himself, taking off the robe he had been wearing then putting on his usual overcoat.
The workers in the house diligently started the process of cleaning up the premises, meticulously addressing every nook and cranny to restore the space to its former glory. They meticulously swept the floors, dusted the furniture, and scrubbed the surfaces clean, leaving no speck of dirt behind.
Additionally, they began repairing the damage that Lumian had caused. This involved fixing broken items, patching up holes in the walls, and repainting areas that had needed it.
Lumian had gone to the back of the house and went to a smaller building which seemed like a storage building of some sort. He went into the building and released some of his energy through the palm of his hand into a very specific latch on the ground.
He raised the latch up when he was done and a lid on the floor came up with it. He jumped down into the opening in the floor and walked further inside for a short while then saw two people from the Aramante clan watching over someone.
She was sitting on the rough, dusty ground, her body appearing unkempt with dirt smudges and a few bruises here and there. The weighty and robust shackles were firmly fastened around her waist, connecting her to the ground and the wall behind her, extending to her hands, restricting her movement and freedom.
Despite her constrained position, her eyes held a glimmer of resilience, a silent defiance against the unjust restraints imposed upon her.
"Dear Kalvrie." Lumian said as he walked towards the woman on the ground. "It really is a shame to see you in here. We worked well together."
"And I regret every single moment I worked for an animal like you." Kalvrie said, looking up at Lumian, her gaze unwavering and her voice still projecting strength.
"Your father has caused quite an unexpected reaction from the Master. A new master is being selected."
"And I'm glad it will never be you." Kalvrie said. "You can never be the Master of the melynxs."
"I expect your father will eventually come back for you. That will be his end. He has created enough problems for me and it is time to erase him from this life."

Jake had heard Anna say they were going to Soran and his previous experience on Soran flooded his mind in an instant. It was like a slideshow was going on in his head and the expedition he went on was the first thing his mind went to.
They had also destroyed the two wert bases on Soran but in doing so the haven on Soran was destroyed as well. There were some casualties but one could say Jake had destroyed half of the planet since he had used something like a smaller version of the Sun to kill most of the werts.
He had been arrested after that and was sentenced to ten years imprisonment in the world penitentiary. The rest was history.
"Why are we going to Soran?" Jake asked as he flew behind Anna. They were flying at an incredible speed but it would still take them hours before they got to Soran.
"After what you did on Soran, people could no longer live on the planet." Anna said. "The heat on the planet increased due to what you did and all the oxygen in the atmosphere was used up when you created that massive fireball if you want to call it that.
"The people could no longer live there but after a while the Vedan army sent soldiers back out there because the werts had taken control of the planet. They were able to withstand the heat and they don't need oxygen to respire. They respire using hydrogen, no matter how small it is in the atmosphere which is why they're able to fly through space."
Inside the magical dimension the others had gone into, they had been wandering around for what seemed like forever to them. The place was entirely dark with a kind of dim mystifying light showing at the farthest end away from them.
They had tried walking towards the light but no matter how far they walked they never reached it. They had no idea how much time had passed and eventually they sat down. They could barely see each other's faces but they knew they had no other choice but to wait it out until Jake opens the portal again to let them out.
Unbeknownst to them, the dim mystifying light they could see far away was from the enchanted armour Jake had kept in the magical dimension. They could not reach it because although they were in the same place, they had come in through different portals.
There was a magical divide between them because they were from different portals so no matter how much they walked, they would never get to the enchanted armour.
Meanwhile, back at the barracks in Thradon, an alarm was ringing through the barracks before it was stopped by a colonel.
"What happened?" Zeke asked.
"The guests that arrived earlier," the colonel said, "we can't find them anywhere in the barracks and the person you sent to them never got to them either."
"Find them." Zeke ordered. "And find Anna."
