8:30 am.
Jake had just been woken by Andrea and was told that Anna was already at the house.
"What!" he had said and immediately checked the time. His hair was a mess on his head and he ran both of his hands through it in a futile attempt to make it look better. "Why's she here at this time?"
"She said yesterday that you all were leaving this morning." Andrea said. "Get ready. Now."
Jake groaned then fell back on his bed before getting up to actually get ready to leave. He went downstairs when he was done and saw everyone already gathered in the living room.
Kyle, Kevin, Smith, Nikki, Diane and Sasha were also in the living room. Sky had called Kyle earlier that morning and told them about what they were planning to do. Without the slightest bit of hesitation, Kyle had asked to go with them.
Kyle knew Smith would want to come as well but Kevin practically complained all the way to Jake's house. Smith had been the one to tell Diane about where they were going and she had shown up with Nikki and Sasha.
"You didn't say we were going to be leaving so early." Jake said to Anna as he came down from the stairs.
"Everyone's already been here for like ten minutes," Sky said, "waiting for you to drag your ass out of bed."
"Well pardon me for deciding to sleep in." Jake replied. "Good to see you guys." he said to the people who were present in his house today but were absent yesterday. "Are you all coming with us?"
They all nodded their heads in response but Kevin replied "Is this really the best idea you guys could come up with?"
"You could stay back Kevin." Nikki said. "I'm sure no one is begging you to come."
"I want us to do something before we leave." Jake said. "A friendly spar between me and Miss Anna."
"And why do you want that?" Anna asked.
"I want to know how strong I am compared to you." Jake said. "Don't worry, I don't plan to use the armour."
"Even with the armour, are you sure you could win against me?" Anna asked.
"Let's just do it so we can leave." Jake said. "I was thinking we do it in school. Surely there's nobody there and it's large enough so we don't have to hold back."
"Alright." Anna said. "Let's go."
Sky and Jake said bye to Andrea before they left. He hugged them and made them promise they would come back safely. After that everyone was heading to Dicenview academy for the spar between Anna and Jake.
They had booked the glists they used to go to the school and the school environment was just as deserted as it was supposed to be. It had been shut down for months now and the grass on the field was overgrown although part of it was cleared by Anna and the others so they could train.
They had all gone to the field and given Jake and Anna sufficient space for their spar. Everyone knew they were both really strong so they made sure the distance between themselves and both Anna and Jake was very wide.
They both immediately got into fighting stances and Anna was the first to make a move. They had taken off the magic rings used for storage and on the way to the school, Jake had selected the three magical abilities he wanted to use.

The system screen for the enchanted armour only appeared when Jake had the armour on him so he had to equip it before selecting the magical abilities.
He only needed to hit Anna once to complete the quest but he could easily win without even touching her by using the blood magic. 'But what's the fun in that?' Jake thought with a smile on his face as he watched Anna shapeshift into a beast that moved on all fours and had a head that had no flesh on it.
The beast began running towards Jake and suddenly disappeared from everyone's sight. Jake tried to look around to catch even the slightest sign of the beast anywhere but he was hit in his gut and was skidding back before losing his balance and bouncing off the ground a couple times.
Jake quickly got up and kept turning to all sides but was hit forcefully on the side of his right knee which made him bend and lean on his other side. The attacks hadn't stopped there and he felt a powerful hit on his face.
Jake used one of his mimicked magical abilities and vanished. 'I'm guessing she's invisible. And I can't even see anything at all that can tell me where she is. If she's able to get past my endurance like that how strong is that beast?'
He reappeared in another part of the field and his leg had already healed. He shapeshifted into the apex ranked beast that had almost killed him.
It had four huge legs with long bone-like parts sticking out of them. Instead of a tail there was an extremely long whip-like body part that was made out of bones and had more bone spikes sticking out of it. The 'tail' swayed in smooth and simple motions in the air.
The beast was huge and from the size of its jaws one would know it was capable of crushing another beast entirely.
It stood in the field looking in all directions when the tail abruptly stopped and swung towards the left side of the beast. There had obviously been impact which showed that the whip-like part had hit something.
The beast suddenly jumped in the opposite direction of where the whip-like part had swung and it snapped its jaws at the air.
"He's found her." Kyle commented, watching from the sidelines.
The beast Jake had shapeshifted into was able to use its very sensitive hearing to hear the sound of Anna's footsteps as she moved across the field.
The 'tail' of the beast swung out again and this time it had held onto something which it clearly began squeezing. A shrill cry was heard and black blood began dripping onto the ground.
The beast Anna had shapeshifted into became visible and it was hanging upside down from its two legs which were being held by the 'tail'.
The beast used its front paws to hit the 'tail' holding it and the whip-like part was immediately shattered which caused the large beast to howl in pain.
It vanished and appeared far away from Anna before it reverted back to Jake. "Alright." he said. "I think we're done."
Anna had also turned back into her real form and was staggering a little. Her legs were bleeding but she was alright. Jake's body was hurting from the hits he'd took but he was going to heal soon.
"I'm confused." Kevin said. "So is Jake stronger or not?"
