Chapter 162 - Another Xendor

On Repol, the heat emanating from the three suns was so hot that it scorched the ground, making it harder and the werts were also benefitting from the intense heat because their scales were also getting harder.

In the multiple large craters that could be seen on the planet, some of the werts were fighting amongst themselves while others watched and cheered on, other werts were also on their own talking amongst themselves under the sun.

Jardon had just flown past all the werts below, his massive wings beating powerfully in the air as he headed to a particularly large crater that was in the ground.

The craters all had structures in them which were houses for the werts, some houses more elaborate than others. But despite there being houses present in the craters, there was still plenty of space that was enough for any kind of activity.

The crater Jardon was currently flying to however, was obviously different and better than the others. In a race where strength was the priority to ensure survival, the strongest had the most benefits.

Nishon, being the only wert with eight tails, was most certainly the strongest wert and was automatically the leader since none of the other werts could challenge him and actually beat him in a fight. Many had tried, but they had all lost the fight and their lives in the process.

Landing in the crater that was his destination, Jardon flapped his wings one last time and sort of folded them up behind him. His wings were dark brown and massive and they curved in a way which ended with a pointed tip that stretched upwards a bit.

Walking through the crater, his slitted eyes were darting around as he looked at almost every wert with confidence. The werts in the crater all had seven tails, nothing less, and that included Jardon. Yet he confidently looked directly into their eyes, as if telling the other werts that he knows he is better than them.

Seeing Jardon walking the way he did, Diablo was extremely angered but chose not to say anything. He had challenged Jardon to a fight once and though their strengths were almost equal which made the fight very tough, Jardon had won eventually but had chosen to spare Diablo's life. Diablo puffed out smoke through his mouth and turned his gaze somewhere else.

Jardon kept walking and went into a structure which looked like more work had been done to it compared to the others in the crater.

He had thought he would find Nishon there but Nishon had come in from behind him, not exactly surprised to see Jardon.

"Yes Jardon?" Nishon said. "What is it that you need?"

"Nothing at all." Jardon replied. "I simply thought I should inform you that there is a bit of an unrest among the werts. They wonder, we all wonder why we have stopped our attacks on the humans for the most part. You ordered that we pull back most of our forces, only leaving a few behind, why?"

"Jardon." Nishon said and smiled slightly, partially revealing his set of powerful razor sharp teeth. "The most dangerous criminals the humans had to offer are now roaming their streets. It most likely took them a lot of years to imprison this people and we set them free. Before they can catch them all back again, it would deplete their forces more and that, is when we strike.

"When they least expect it, we will attack and they will perish once and for all. Assure the others that there is nothing wrong. Everything has been going according to plan so far. Except from when that boy destroyed out wert bases on their planet Soran. Whatever happened to him? I would have thought he would have caused us more trouble already."

"I will try to find out." Jardon replied with a slight bow. "In the meantime, I will assure the others."

'He will be a problem for us.' Nishon thought as Jardon exited.

Andrea had left the castle thinking of a way to find Kalvrie. He had no idea where she had gone to after speaking with him or where she could possibly be living.

He had just wandered about for a while in hopes of maybe seeing her again but he had not had any luck so far. With nothing else to do, he headed back to talk to Lumian again. He was not totally pleased with the idea of talking to Lumian again but at this point he didn't really have a choice.

Kalvrie had come out of Lumian's house and she worked for him so he would most likely know where she lived.

Reaching the front gates of the house that radiated blue energy, Andrea saw the guards again but this time they let him in. Andrea gave the guards a slight nod of acknowledgement then went in and was about to climb up the stairs when he heard someone speak to him from behind.

"Have you been here talking to Sir Lumian all this time?" Kalvrie asked from behind Andrea as she approached the gates which the guards had already quickly opened for her.

Turning around and immediately recognising the voice, Andrea smiled at her. Blue eyes, purple hair which had two red streaks in it which cascaded at her back, the simple femininity of her voice which somehow succeeded in portraying strength. Andrea took in all those attributes and suddenly had a wistful look in his eyes.

He had missed her thirty years of growth and had literally never been there for her throughout her whole life. He regretted not having fought harder. But how was he supposed to tell her now that a father she had never known was standing right in front of her?

"Can we talk for a moment?" Andrea asked, the smile no longer on his face.

"Is there a problem?" Kalvrie replied. She wasn't a person who smiled a lot, always focused on whatever task she had at hand. But for some reason, seeing the smile of the man who was practically a stranger to her felt nice. His smile was welcoming and you could almost feel yourself letting your guard down.

Seeing the smile that was on his face a second ago suddenly disappear, Kalvrie felt something might be wrong.

"There's no problem." Andrea answered, trying to force a smile but failing. "I just really need to talk to you."

"I was on my way to speak to Sir Lumian but..."

"I'm sorry but Lumian can wait." Andrea said, interrupting her. "I don't mean to be rude but we need to talk now."

Sensing the urgency in his voice, Kalvrie considered it for a moment then agreed to talk to him. She led him through the forest with red trees to her house which was not far away from the house of the Xendors.

After they were both seated, it seemed to Kalvrie that Andrea did not know how to begin whatever it was he wanted to tell her so she decided to assist him.

"Why don't you start from the beginning?" she advised.

Thinking for a bit, Andrea finally spoke. "Do you know that you are part of the Xendor bloodline?"
