"I didn't even expect to win." Kevin said as he took the helmet off and kept it on a stand before walking to meet Smith and Jake. "You're not going to say anything?" he asked Jake.
"I don't feel like saying anything. I'm waiting for the final round." Jake replied. 'I want to see just how strong Kyle is.'
"You can't wait to pulverise Kyle huh?" Kevin asked.
"Something like that." Jake answered.
"Ladies and boys," Anna said, "the moment you all have been waiting for, we are about to enter the final round. The students who have advanced into the final round are Jake and Kyle. Since Jake doesn't need to replenish his mana because he hasn't used magic in any of his fights, let's give Kyle some time to regain his depleted mana."
After waiting for a few minutes, Kyle's mana had replenished and he was ready to fight at his best.
"Without talking too much, Jake, Kyle, could you step forward and put on the helmet. Show us a fantastic display of your skills."
Moving to meet Miss Anna, Jake and Kyle looked at each other before putting on the helmets.
Turning his head and looking around, Jake saw himself standing on a shore next to a bright and clear lake. Flowing into the lake from above was a cascade which was just as clear as the water below. Seeing how beautifully the water reflected the rays of sunshine, Jake smiled.
"Wonderful, isn't it?" Kyle said as he walked to stand beside Jake.
"Yeah. It's not real though." Jake replied.
"Right now it's not real, but it could still exist somewhere in the real world."
"You're right. Are you ready? This might be a long fight." Jake said. 'Because I can't use my full strength, the highest I've shown Miss Anna is just around ninety percent of my actual strength.'
"I'm ready."
Moving away from each other, Jake and Kyle stood a few feet away from each other and they both got into fighting stances.
Going round in a circular motion, Jake and Kyle stared at each other while waiting for the right time to make the first move.
Striking first, Jake threw out a punch aiming to hit Kyle in the chest but Kyle blocked the fist with his hands and sent a kick which Jake blocked with the forearm of his other hand then held onto the leg. Now using his both hands, Jake gripped Kyle's leg tightly before throwing him a few feet away.
Putting his hands on the ground to stop himself from sliding, Kyle kept his eyes on Jake and shot out streams of poison from two of his fingers.
Seeing the poison in the air coming towards him, Jake used Max's force field magic he had mimicked to shield himself. 'I expected this to happen.' Jake thought as he saw the yellow poison slowly disintegrate the force field. 'Max's magic isn't strong enough to block out Kyle's poison.'
Noticing his poison slowly disintegrating the force field covering Jake, Kyle got up from the ground and shot out more streams of poison while trying his best to aim at the same spot on the force field which was already disintegrating.
Still shielding himself with the force field, Jake rolled away from the course of the poison and ran towards Kyle before he could shoot out more streams of poison. Reaching Kyle while moving from side to side to evade more streams of poison, Jake sent out a front kick which hit Kyle on his abdomen and made him slide back a little.
Getting into a fighting stance again, Kyle thought to himself 'He's strong, very strong.' With Jake running towards him, Kyle threw out a punch which Jake deflected and hit Kyle on the shoulder. Bringing his hand back towards himself, Kyle used his other hand to throw another punch at Jake as a distraction while he kicked Jake on the side of his right knee.
Bending slightly after Kyle kicked the side of his knee, Jake thought to himself while sidestepping a punch from Kyle 'How strong is this guy? He actually made me bend a little bit after he kicked the side of my knee. With how high my endurance is, I should only feel a little pain after being hit but he made me bend.'
Receiving a hit on his chest, Jake immediately used the force field to push Kyle's hand back. Seeing the poison already disintegrating the force field, Jake was thankful he had used the force field when he did. 'I know I can withstand that poison but I don't want to know how bad it will hurt if it touches me.'
'He's lucky he used that force field, this fight might have been over if he didn't.' Kyle thought as he dodged a punch from Jake but was sent sliding on the ground towards the lake after he received another front kick from Jake. Shooting out poison while getting up, Kyle was moving towards Jake and still spewing poison from his fingers.
Moving from one place to another while the force field he was using to protect himself dematerialized, Jake decided to quickly look at the system messages he had just received and check why he could no longer use the force field magic.

[You have successfully mimicked Poison Secretion]
[You will lose mimicked magic after 24 hours at your current level]
'I should have expected this. With the number of times I hit Kyle, it has already reached five seconds of contact between him and me. Let's see how he enjoys being shot at.' Seeing a stream of poison pass the side of his head, Jake immediately ducked with his head facing the ground and pointed his forefinger in the direction the stream of poison came from.
Seeing Jake point a finger in his direction, Kyle was confused. 'What's he trying to do? I shouldn't use my magic anymore, my mana is almost completely depleted.' Stopping his constant spew of poison, Kyle saw a green stream of liquid heading in his direction and quickly moved to the side.
Looking at Jake, Kyle saw the green liquid dropping from his forefinger and a shocked expression appeared on his face. 'Did he just mimic my magic, during our fight?'
