Looking at all three of them, Jake was contemplating running away or trying to fight them head on. He had almost decided to run away until he got a ding from the system.

'Whoa, the exp's higher than before,' Jake thought, 'does this mean these guys are gonna be a lot harder. Well, let's see how much I've improved'. Getting into a fighting position, Jake was ready to try and take them all on.
Moving forward to attack first was Duke, being a person of considerable size with strength more than the normal average person's, he was confident in beating Jake to a pulp again.
Closing the distance between himself and Jake, he threw out an uppercut which Jake side stepped and threw a left hook at Duke's head with all the strength and speed he could muster. Looking confused after seeing Jake side step his uppercut which should have been too fast for Jake to even see it coming, he was shocked to see the punch headed for his face at the last minute. Quickly trying to avoid the punch from making contact with his face, he tried to duck but was a bit too slow, the punch connected with his face but due to him already attempting to duck, he didn't feel the full force of the punch.
Getting dizzy from the punch thrown by Jake, Duke turned around and shouted at his cronies, "Well don't just stand there. Do something." Making full use of Duke's distraction, Jake used his two hands to deliver an attack on Duke's head by joining both hands together, and bringing it down as hard as he could on Duke's head. Duke yelled out in pain and fell to the ground holding his head.
Looking at the two cronies running towards him, Jake saw a stick near him and grabbed it.
Reaching Jake, one of the cronies threw a kick at Jake's head. Grabbing the leg with his hand, Jake swung the stick aiming the shin of the leg. On contact the stick broke into two, dropping the leg and throwing a punch at the other crony which connected with his face, Jake kicked the head of the first crony who had fallen to his knees. Eyes rolling to the back, the first crony passed out on the floor.
Hitting Jake from the behind on his back, Jake moved a little bit forward but still stood his ground. He had felt the pain from the punch but not as much pain as he would have expected. Turning around and blocking the already thrown fist, Jake hit the crony in the throat and kneed him in the stomach. Bending over the ground, the crony spat out blood and received another hit on his head which made him pass out.
Standing there and breathing heavily, Jake thought he had completed the quest until he felt something hit his head. Staggering forward a little, Jake turned around and saw Duke with a stone in his hand. Jake ran towards him, jumped and landed his fist on Duke's face.
With all three of his attackers passed out on the floor, Jake received a message from his system.
