Later that night Jiang kept scratching her neck.
And I have a bad feeling.
I was drinking Coffee while looking at my tablet when Jiang walked down the stairs and turned on the television.
" Do you want to watch a movie?" she asked.
" Why not?" I replied.
She turned on the television and on the television was gruesome news.
There was another case near us. They showed shoes, a shoe that looked like the one that Satin was wearing.
Jiang and I looked at each other.
" Let's go to the hospital,"
Grabbing her keys, we quickly shuffled into our coats and jumped in her jeep and drove to the hospital.
Rushing in we asked if Satin was admitted here and told the lady we were his cousin.
We followed the person to Satin's room and there he laid in the hospital bed looking pitiful under the warm orange light in the room.
Looking over at us he closed his eyes. Looking at him I noticed that his face was bruised with scrapes and craws.
He opened his mouth, and a hoarse croaky sound came out as it seemed his tongue was cut and bandaged," You know they came for you, but I didn't tell them anything."
His words were slow and slightly slurred.
He gulped," You're making yourselves noticed by visiting me," looking at me he smiled faintly" And if you make yourselves notices my sacrifice will be in vain."
My vision became blurry, and I blinked to try and clear my vision.
I walked closer to his bed and sat down on the chair.
" I want revenge but you're lesser, just a skinny skater, there is nothing you can do for me," he said and looked up at the ceiling.
" I hate to make you recall but do you remember any features?" Jiang asked him.
" One of the guy's hair is orange similar to a pumpkin and has a short cut beard. The other had short hair and they seemed like they're in their thirties, there was a younger guy with long white hair with them in the bus, but he didn't do anything, he just sat leaned looking out the window bored and there was a driver and another person in the front passenger seat."
" So, a total of five people,"
" How did you manage to escape?" I asked.
" I pretended to be unconscious, and they carried me out of the car I got up and ran but I tripped and fell rolled down a slope and into the road where I was hit by a car,"
" So, it's near a busy main road," Jiang said.
" I would think so," he replied.
" There are plenty of factories in this area," I commented.
" Yes, more than 20, but less than 10 are next to the road,"
" Wangkai," Satin called out to me.
" Don't go to school because they will come,"
" I won't go to school because I'm on a two week break anyway,"
" What if they break in and steal your files or harm your colleagues?"
" Don't fear, drive," Jiang said to him.
Yes, what if they do that? It would be all because of me.
" Don't be sad, it's not all because of you, it's because of their illegal selling," Jiang reassured as if she knew what I was thinking.
After the talk, Jiang Didi and I left his room and walked away.
I looked up to see the camera and walked closer to Jiang as I noticed a suspicious man in black with a cap that blocked his eyes but smiled a wide smile.
Clearly to get up here the elevator worked but a new sign that says the elevator is out of order was placed.
I sighed as we made our way down into the stairs.
When we almost reached the ground floor, I turned to Jiang who was only two steps behind me and asked," Jiang, if those guys are so powerful to operate in times like these, don't you think they could have access to the hospital?"
"Hit, your right," " She threw me the car keys " Go in the car and lock the door and wait for me,"
She ran back up the stairs.
In the room the man we passed in the hall was strangled Satin.
Jiang grabbed the vase and smashed it on the man's head. And pushed him away from Satin. She quickly pulled Satin up." I'm here to help you," she said to Satin and lifted him up and rushed out the room, into the hall and down the stairs.
Seeing them, a few guards tried to stop them. Unfortunately, this caught the attention of the guards who stupidly went inside.
The men waiting outside saw this as a great opportunity to grab the real target.
Approaching the jeep, they tried to bang on the window and pry the lock.
The window of the hospital shattered as a security guard was sent flying through after being kicked by Jiang. Finding strength Jiang and Satin rushed towards the jeep.
"Hey! Hua! Start up the jeep and turn!" she shouted and ran up the road.
Wangkai quickly got into the driver's seat and started the jeep reversing before turning quickly around the front of the hospital drop off. Locating Jiang and Satin he tried to exit the parking space when one of the fugitives threw a stone like a shot-put ball. The stone flew in with the force breaking the windshield and hit the back of the head rest shoving the seat forward...
Although it startled Wangkai it didn't do much as he was able to keep his composure, drive the jeep up to them and unlock the doors.
Climbing over the flower henge the two managed to jump into the car and escape the chasers on foot.
After closing the door Jiang climbed into the front passenger seat as Satin laughed." That's the most thrill I have ever had in my entire life."
"Oh yeah? but it's not over," Wangkai commented as he looked in the rear-view mirror at the black bus that the other guys jumped into.
"Didn't the police show up at your hospital room for questioning?" Jiang asked.
" I suspect the police is on their side because no they haven't showed up at all,"
"Then we must leave this place,"
As I drove fast forward the steering of the jeep started getting wobbly.
"Um, Jiang, what should I do?"
"It's quite normal for the sterling to get wobbly after all it was meant for off road travel,"
"Satin, take up the stone they broke the glass with and throw it when I say okay,"
"Okay," he agreed.
" 1,"
.
.
.
" 2,"
.
.
.
"3!"
Jiang suddenly grabbed the steering and turned it just as Satin threw the stone at the windshield of the enemy bus. Because of Jian our Jeep took an illegal right turn without the indicator into a rocky path.
"Quickly exchange," Jiang commanded.
I took off my seatbelt and moved from around the steering to the passenger seat behind Jiang who guided the steering as we swapped.
In front of the steering Jiang sighed," Boys this is about to get bumpy put on your seat belts quickly,"
We quickly fiddled with the seatbelts and put it on as she sped into the unknown on the rocky path.
She took fast turns and moved with great speed so fast at times I felt like we were flying.
She then dimmed the light and turned in an intersection. Then she cut the lights off completely and shut off the engine.
" Shhh," she signaled us to be quiet and soon enough the bus passed us going straight on the road we just turned off of.
After five minutes she started the engine without lights and drove slowly forward. She asked me to go in her pocket and use her phone for light. Then moving forward on the straight we took a left turn and continued forward where we came across a highway.
She then turned on her light and proceeded forward.
"Where are we going?" I asked her.
"To a town I used to live in," she said. And turned onto the highway, "this is our great escape."
