Astraea and I just watched each other in the awkward silence, then she brought out a flute 'So she plays the flute' I said to myself. She looked at me and blew her flute, playing the most majestic song I'd ever heard.
I listened as she played and with every moment, I enjoyed it, she was really good at it and talented, even the way she held her flute was spectacular.
She stopped.
"Why did you stop" I asked
"I finished the song" she said
"Oh" I awkwardly said " I loved it''
"Thank you, it's my favorite song, it makes me calm" She said
"Okay, how did you find me " I asked
"Oh, your dad found me, I was walking by a river when your dad called out to me, I was lost so he told me to come with him and I did, he soon found out I was his daughter and he insisted he'd brought me here to see you " She said
"That's nice, do you have powers like me?" I asked, though it was a stupid question but I asked because I didn't want another silent moment.
"No I don't think I do, dad told me you can control the water, well, I can't do anything, I only play the flute and tend for the flowers" She answered
I was shocked, I thought she'd have powers.
"Then can you see through the mist" I asked
"Yes, I can"
I figured she was very similar to mom, mom didn't have powers but she could see through the mist, though I believed that astraea had powers, she just hadn't used them yet or know how to use them.
"It's nice to be able to see through the mist, then you'd know what things really are" I told her
"Yeah, but I wish I had powers like you, I just want to be able to control the water, it would be so cool" She said
