Just as Malcom had predicted, the next day West contacted Elric about working together for the school competition. After a short chain of messages, the young fashion manager agreed to come over to Elric's house, along with a few of his employees.
When Elric checked his phone as he and Ember walked home from college, though, he saw a message that would likely provide a second topic for them to talk about, aside from their plans for the competition.
A red banner announcement continuously hung at the top of 'The Boys' chat, covering up a considerable part of the screen.
'A world-tier message… only someone at the very top of the rankings could've sent this out, right?'
Elric's eyebrows furrowed as he read over the message.
