Chapter 6: Tower Of Library
The eastern tower of the Levasti Family, aptly referred to as the library tower, stood tall and majestic, dominating the landscape with its grandeur. It was a towering structure, rising to a total of 15 floors, each adorned with countless shelves filled to the brim with an immense collection of books, scrolls, and ancient tomes. The air within was tinged with the scent of aged parchment and knowledge, carrying the weight of generations of accumulated wisdom.
As one ascended the tower, the vastness of knowledge unfolded before them, with each floor dedicated to various subjects, from history and mythology to magic arts and alchemy. The library tower was a treasure trove of information, a sanctuary of learning.
At the topmost floor, a breathtaking sight awaited visitors - a large botanical garden bathed in sunlight. Lush greenery adorned the space, interspersed with vibrant blooms of various hues. It was an oasis of serenity amid the bustling world below, a place of solace for those seeking respite from the chaos outside.
Amid the beauty of the garden, a boy could be seen sitting under the shade of a majestic tree, engrossed in a book. His short platinum blonde hair shimmered under the sunlight, with a subtle tint of golden strands catching the eye. Despite the picturesque setting, his countenance held an air of melancholy, as if he had become disillusioned with the world.
His eyes scanned the pages of the book, but the words seemed to hold little solace for him. He appeared lost in thought, grappling with internal struggles and questions that weighed heavily on his shoulders.
This boy was Noel Vier Levasti, a member of the illustrious Levasti Family, trapped in the library tower for what felt like an eternity. The tower's books held vast knowledge, yet they could not provide answers to the questions that plagued him, nor could they mend the sense of isolation that enveloped him.
As he turned another page, a glimmer of determination flickered in Noel's eyes. Despite the uncertainty and solitude he endured, he was resolute in his quest to uncover the truth about his family and the reasons behind his forced seclusion in the tower.
He dedicated himself to learning about the world beyond, immersing himself in the language, becoming proficient in reading and writing. He found a solace in reading books to escape reality just like what he did in his previous life with his games and novels.
Yet, the more he learned about the world's history, culture, and magic, the more aware he became of his own limitations. Noel discovered that he was an irregular, unable to wield mana and use magic like others in this world. Every book he read about the wondrous powers of magic only served as a painful reminder of his own perceived incompetence.
A sense of isolation and frustration engulfed him. He yearned to explore the world beyond the confines of the tower, to see the world for himself. However, just because of him being unable to use mana he was forced to stay in this forsaken tower.
In moments of desolation, he would gaze out of the tower's window at the vast garden, the beauty of nature offering a temporary relief to the turmoil within him. The tranquil garden provided him with a fleeting sense of peace, but the desire for answers and freedom continued to burn brightly in his heart.

Whoosh
That peace didn't last long as a large gust of wind almost blew me off my feet. There were two figures that could be seen. One is a man with green hair and glasses, wearing a green robe with his hair tied into a ponytail. The other is a child with radiant golden hair, sweating buckets and looking exhausted.
It was Nora, my twin sister, and upon seeing her, a myriad of emotions flooded through me. I was happy to see her again, especially after the last time we were together during that incident. However, at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of envy and frustration.
As I stood there, observing from the vantage point of the tower, the man raised his hand, and a vibrant green ring materialized in the air before him. The ring's hue indicated that it carried the attribute of the wind element.
Casting magic in this world involved a precise three-step process. The first step was mana gathering, through the use of Mystic Pathway, a special vein humans in this world possessed, It acts as a conduit, allowing the magical energy to flow and accumulate within the individual.
Next came mana storing. After gathering the mana, mages used Imagery, a powerful mental technique, to create an imaginary storage space within their hearts. By linking their heart and Imagery, they established a reservoir for mana.
However, maintaining this storage consumed mana itself, meaning only a portion of the absorbed mana could be put into the storage while the rest remained accessible for immediate use. A delicate balance was required to prevent mana overload, which could strain their organs and pose severe risks.
Finally, the culmination of the process was manifestation. It involved transforming the gathered and stored mana into the mage's specific element, bringing magic to life and creating something from nothing. It was through this step that the green ring of wind element appeared.
Suddenly, flashbacks of how Nora almost killed me by the explosion caused by her awakening sent shivers down my spine. I would've died and been sent back to Jesus, If not for that blue-haired maid.
It wasn't something you could do naturally, but through countless trials, errors, and extraordinary control and mental acuity to avoid harming vital organs, yet she managed to accomplish it at the astonishing age of two. What a monster.
As the man extended his hand towards the heavens. His emerald eyes gleamed with determination, above the ring were countless green specks of light floating around.
"It looked like he was about done with his preparation" even with those thoughts my attention was still focused on the green-haired man.
The green specks of light above him began to spiral, coiling and spinning with increasing intensity. The wind element responded to his will, and before my very eyes, a miniature tornado took shape, growing in size and power.
The air around him seemed to dance with the vortex's energy, the force of the wind swirling within the eye of the tempest. It was a magnificent sight, both mesmerizing and awe-inspiring. The small tornado swirled gracefully, reaching upwards and painting the sky with its verdant hues.
As the man held the manifestation of his power, he looked both satisfied and humbled by the display. As the small tornado spun elegantly in the sky, I couldn't help but be captivated by its peculiar nature.
Despite its forceful winds, it seemed to possess an otherworldly restraint, not pulling or tearing at its surroundings. Leaves from nearby trees rustled gently, yet not a single one was drawn into its swirling vortex.
The green-haired man's control over mana was truly extraordinary. It was as if he had tamed the raw power of the wind element, bending it to his will with an exquisite finesse. With every slight movement of his hand, the tornado's trajectory shifted effortlessly. It moved like a living being, dancing and swirling in response to the man's intentions. It was both mesmerizing and strange.
His green robe fluttered in the gentle breeze he commanded, and even the grass beneath his feet seemed to sway in tune with his mana's rhythm. It was a display of power and control that left me in awe.
The small tornado above him slowly started to disappear, fading away as he wished it to do so. It showed his control and carefulness that the vortex vanished without causing any chaos or damage.
At that moment, I swore to myself no matter what or how long it takes, I will find a way to learn magic. "I won't give up. Not now or never, I can't let this chance god has given me pass by. Yes, that's it! He must be testing me to see If I'm fit to wield his power. AHAHHAHAHA"
At the tower, a maniacal laughter of a delusional boy could be heard, filling the large botanical garden with the plants swaying in his tune.
