Asher did the exact opposite. He panicked.
As they rushed back to the university, Asher's mind was all over the place.
"Relax." Beau could not count how many times he had said that word, and he had no hope to stop. "There is nothing wrong with a father coming to see his son. He has not been here since you resumed. Left to me, it's long overdue."
Although Asher's panic thoughts did not stop, his mind relaxed a little. He realized that it had been quite some time since he heard from his mom. Had something happened to her? Or... had something come up and he was going to be withdrawn from the university?
If something close to the latter happened, he would be far from Beau...
