Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Marine's Victory

In the fierce battle between Captain Smoker and Captain Black Skull, the dominance of Captain Smoker's power became evident. His strange ability to control smoke made the fight heavily one-sided. Captain Black Skull and his pirates fought desperately, but they couldn't withstand Captain Smoker's incredible strength.

As the battle unfolded, I continued to monitor the situation with my Kenbunshoku Haki. I started to recognize the characteristics of Captain Black Skull, a legendary pirate feared in the East Blue Sea. However, their existence was shrouded in mystery and rarely revealed in the world of One Piece. I was surprised because I had never heard of a pirate named Black Skull before.

The Black Skull pirates showcased their toughness and refused to surrender in the face of Captain Smoker. They fought with all their might, launching powerful attacks, but it was not enough to match Captain Smoker's extraordinary power. The situation grew worse for Captain Black Skull and his pirate crew.

Finally, as Captain Smoker's victory became more certain, Captain Black Skull unleashed a desperate final attack. The attack was strong and deadly, creating a massive explosion around him. However, Captain Smoker quickly controlled the burning smoke with his power. With precise movements, he disabled Captain Black Skull and brought him down to the ship's floor.

The battle ended with Captain Smoker's victory. The surviving pirates from the Black Skull pirates showed signs of defeat and surrendered. Captain Smoker gave orders to his troops to capture and secure the remaining pirates. After the battle, we, who were trapped in the prison cell, were rescued by members of the Marine who found us. As the prison cell door opened, we were informed that we had been saved.

After enduring unimaginable suffering in the prison cell, the day I had been waiting for finally arrived. As the rigid iron door opened, bright light flooded the cell, blinding my eyes that had grown accustomed to darkness. I was stunned to see several members of the Marine standing before me with warm smiles on their faces.

"Congratulations, you have been freed!" exclaimed one of the Marines with a joyful voice.

Tears of relief immediately flooded my cheeks. I couldn't contain the overflowing happiness within me. After being trapped in darkness and uncertainty for so long, I could finally feel freedom again. The members of the Marine looked at me with understanding, realizing the arduous journey I had undertaken.

I stepped out of the cell with weak steps, feeling the touch of the wind brushing against my weary cheeks. It had been so long since I last felt the fresh air on my face. I looked around the pirate ship that had been my prison. But this time, I saw it with hopeful eyes.

Not long after, I caught sight of someone I had long despised in my life. Captain of the Black Skull ship, who now appeared weak and frail. My heart raced as our eyes met. I could sense the anger and reluctance in his remaining gaze. However, amidst that hatred, I also felt an unexpected compassion.

Seeing him lying before me, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by emotions flooding my heart. I remembered the suffering he had endured, the shattered dreams, and all the struggles he had gone through. In his dying state, he was a living testament to the failure that had consumed him.

For a moment, I shifted my gaze to the vast sky above. Staring at the bright sunlight, I felt a choked sob escaping my throat. Tears fell freely, flowing incessantly on my worn-out cheeks.
