WILLIAMS POV
I just got back from Paris, I felt bad that I didn't call Tammy at all. Hope she isn't angry at me. it was not even Because I'm busy or something but I was scared on how she'll react, I know I'm being stupid but you wouldn't blame me. My phone rang and I saw Mark on the screen. I know he'll be so mad at me, I didn't pick his calls. Well here goes nothing
"What's up man" I greeted first
"Keep your greetings to yourself, I don't want to hear it" Mark said, and I felt like he's mimicking me but I ignored
"I know you're mad at me" I said, I know I should say sorry but it's just hard for me
"And?" he said, expecting me to say sorry
"sorry" I replied curtly
"Is that how they apology?" she sighed
"Are you taking it or not" I rolled my eyes, I know I should be feeling guilty and all but it's just hard
"Okay then" he said and cut the call, woahhhhh what's up with the attitude today. Did Mark just cut my call, this is really serious
He's really mad at me, I decided to call him back and apologize. I called twice and he didn't pick, nice one Mark. I tried again and he picked
"What?" He shouted, I know he's giving me the taste of my medicine but it's fine, I deserve it
"I know you're mad and me and you ought to, I'm really sorry man" I said and I meant it
"Oh you better be" he said
"By the way, why didn't you call Tammy?" He asked and I went silent. I don't even know what to say to be honest.
"I'm talking to you Liam'!" he said
"I didn't mean to okay" I defended
"You gotta be kidding me Liam, what do you mean by you didn't mean to'
"I was just scared okay, I don't know how she'll react. Trust me when I say I think about her all the time, she occupies my mind so much but I don't know what to do" I said truthfully
"This is the first time I've heard you saying how you feel instead of being rude to cover everything, can I ask you something Liam?" he sounded serious
"Go on" I said
"Do you like Tammy?" he asked and my heart started racing very fast.
Of course I love her, I really do. My feelings and intensions are pure.
"I'm still waiting Liam" he interrupted my thoughts
"Yes I do like her" I said, and it felt good
"Wow, I'm really happy about that Liam. The two of you are perfect for each other" Mark screamed
"But I don't know if she feels the same way" the thought makes me really sad
"You'll never know until you find out, why not call her" he suggested
"Do you think she'll want to talk to me?" I asked
"Hmmm I think so, when we talked yesterday...."
"What did she say" I interrupted
"Chill man I can't tell you, find out yourself" he said and cut the call. The nerves..
After thinking for a while I decided to call her. She picked after the fourth ring
"Hello" her angelic voice said and I can't help but smile, this is what I've been waiting to hear
"Hellooo" she said again and I chuckled
"Bunch of weird....."
"Hey Tammy" I cut her off. She was silent for a while, guess she knew who's talking already.
"Are you there" I said impatiently, I really want her to say something
"Hi" she replied, seriously just hi. Well I deserve it
"How are you" I said calmly, I don't want to get her upset
"I'm fine, how about you" she said and I smiled
"I'm good" I said and we become silent again, I decided to break the silence
"I've missed you" I said even without thinking but she didn't really, dammmnnnn
"Tammy say something" I pleaded
"How was your trip to Paris" she said, I just said I miss her and she's saying something else
"It was fine" I replied dryly
"Good to hear" she said
"I'm really sorry for not telling before traveling, it wasn't intentional I swear"
"You don't owe me any explanation Williams" She said
"I know but I should have informed you at least, I'm really sorry"
"It's fine"
"How about we spend time together" I scratched the back of my head
"Hmmmm go on" she said
"I'll pick you up by 9, hope you'll be free by then"
"Sure, but where are we going to" she asked and I smiled
"It's a secret, just wear something cozy"
"Whatever" she said and I chuckled
"See you by 9 then"
"Sure"
"Byeeee" I said and cut the call smiling like I won a lottery.
I have a place in mind that I want to take her to, I've never taken someone there before. it a place I normally go to relax after a stressful day.
I found that place when I was 18 years old during my birthday. I left home because my parents decided to invite a lot of people and I don't want crowd. So when wandering around I saw that place, few years later I built a little but cozy house.
The place is surrounded by a beautiful garden, a lake filled with dukes, horses, fireflies at night, hills, there's all a little waterfall by the garden.
The place is peaceful. The view is breathtaking.
I made up my mind to take her there today. I ate breakfast today and left for work.
Someone knocked on the door, "Come in" I shouted. I raised my head and saw Betty
"Good morning Boss" she greeted
"Morning"
"Mr Luke has finally sighed the deal, he said he'll send a mail for a meeting" She said
"Okay then, tell me when he's ready" I said and she nodded, she turned to leave and I stopped her
"Can I ask you something, just little tip" I said slowly
"Go on boss"
"I'm planning on taking a girl out today...."
"Wait is it Tammy? are you guys going on a date?" She interrupted and I looked at her
"Sorry" she said
"As I was saying, I'll be picking her up but I don't know if I should get her something or " I scratched my head, I don't really know about all this things
"Well I think you should get her flowers, girls love flowers" she said. Yes flowers why didn't I think about that
"True, thank you Betty" I said for the first time and she was shocked
*Trust me this is gonna be the last time I'll say this" I said "You may go"
."But sir do you want me to get the flowers" she suggested
"No Tammy's too special for that, I'll get it myself" I said
"That's really cool" She squealed and I gave her a warning look, she composed herself immediately. "Sorry sir"
"Don't you have things to do this morning, are you done with the work I gave you" I raised my eyebrows
"Yes, I mean no. I'll just get going" she pointed at the door
"What are you still waiting for" I said rudely and she left
