Hello everyone! Before we delve into the story, I'd like to take a moment to address a few important points.
Antithesis is primarily a passion project and a way for me to explore new creative avenues. Whether the story gains a large readership or not, I intend to continue writing it for my own enjoyment.
In the process of creating Antithesis, I've drawn inspiration from various sources such as games, novels, animes/light novels/manga, and TV shows. You may come across references to Warframe, Elden Ring, Deepwoken, Bleach, the Fate series, HP Lovecraft, and more. However, these references are mainly similar to the original sources and usually not exact replicas.
Additionally, you may encounter certain religious aspects within the story. It's important to note that these elements have little correlation to real-life religions and are purely fictional in nature.
I want to clarify that I do not own any of the aspects specifically derived from the mentioned sources. I'm merely incorporating them into my story for entertainment purposes.
Antithesis is a blend of dark fantasy and fiction. I'd like to emphasize once again that this is my first-ever story. I began writing it in September 2022 and heavily continued working on it from late November until the day of its publication. Please bear in mind that I don't have extensive experience in storytelling, and I hope you'll understand and appreciate that.
My vision for Antithesis is to create a relatively expansive narrative with extensive world-building and character development. To aid in the reading experience, the story will be organized into Acts (Important Lore which should make sense at some point in the story, be it the next act or many acts later) and Chapters. The Chapters will be further divided to ensure they aren't too lengthy to read in one go, considering this is a web story and not a traditional book format. For example:
Act 1 - Chapter 1 - 1.2 - 1.3 - 1.4... Chapter 2... 3... 4... 5... Act 2...
I do apologise for those reading this on webnovel that it might be a little confusing due to the fact the website automatically inputting the chapter number to the side lol...
