I was an orphan.
I didn't know why I was born or who I was born from.
I lived in the streets for as long as I can remember.
I didn't even have a name.
So, I named myself after looking at an advertisement poster on a huge building.
Louis, That was my name. The name I gave myself.
An orphanage took me in when I was 7 years old. My new life started that day. I studied hard since there wasn't any goal in my mind and the only thing I had were those books.
I left the orphanage when I became 18 but I didn't actually know if I was 18 years old.
I worked as a manager in a factory and moved into a nearby house.
I was quite sociable. So, I had a few friends. One of them introduced me novels and made me read his favourite novel.
I wasn't really a novel guy. So, I only read the first few and last few chapters.
I worked that job for 7 years and my health started deteriorating. I was concluded to have Lung cancer and it was the last stage.
I didn't feel sad or depressed because I didn't have anyone who would cry when I die.
But when I was on my final breath due to cancer all I could think was
'How would my life have been if i had a family?'
These words kept ringing in my ears even while i was dying.
I slowly drifted into the eternal sleep as I thought about a family. A family which I could call mine. A family which cared for me and which I cared for.

"Aeiwgak Yuiaga..."
"Hwgwoa uopwhwui!!!!!!"
"Jwvakah uwvakaosb owhwv...."
I could hear an unfamiliar language spoken by a male and female from what I could discern through the sound I hear.
I couldn't open my eyes but after some effort I opened them but only a little.
I could only see blurry outlines of a woman and man.
The woman was holding me in her arms. I started crying automatically as I was a newborn baby from what I understood.
"Waahhh!!"
"Riacqir muge ysvegak"
I didn't understand what the female just said but for some reason I felt what she said.
There was a certain warmth in her words that felt alien to me.
It was something I never experienced in life.
It was love.
A mother's love.
I could feel the warmth in her eyes eventhough I couldn't see anything.
It felt refreshing.
It was very comfortable. For the first time in my life I felt something inexplicable.
I wanted this to not be a dream.
I wanted this reality.
I wanted it to be my heaven.
I finally got myself a family in my second life. I wanted this to not be a trick played by God.
******************************************
It has been 3 months since I started my second life.
All I do everyday is sleep for 12 hours and cry for 12 hours.
I slowly started seeing colours through my eyes.
My mother.
Yes, She is my Mother.
She had beautiful Blonde hair and crystal clear Blue eyes.
She is the most beautiful woman I have seen in my both lives.
Well technically she is the only woman I have seen in my second life.
But she will be the most beautiful woman to me since she is my Mother.
"Geiais idhwoe pahwvsi!!"
I could hear the masculine voice of my father calling me.
"Mike!! Whabao owhveo isvah"
He lifted me into the air as he called my name.
My parents gave me the name Mike.
It is my first true name.
It wasn't a name I took from random advertisement but A name "My" parents gave me.
I know I shouldn't imply that they are "My" but still I was very happy to finally have a family.
I still couldn't understand the language here and I might even forget English as I learn this new language.
My Father was a handsome man.
He had brown hair along with red eyes which made him look strict but he was just a overgrown teddy bear who loves to play with his son.
He was very tall. He could be 6'5 feet.
The house I live in right now is a small apartment.
My mother goes to work from morning to evening and my father goes to work from evening to morning.
They are a hard working couple.
They take shifts in caring for me as I still don't have control over my voluntary sphincters.
Quite embarassing for a 25 year old but I wasn't Louis anymore.
I am Mike...?
I still don't know my family name.
********************************************
------ 2 years later ------
"Mike come back here!!!"
My mother shouted at me as I was running around while she was feeding me.
My mother's name is Martha Reethur.
My father's name is Edward Reethur.
My name is Mike Reethur.
I am slowly starting to understand the language of this world.
We usually take a stroll outside or visit a park nearby to play on the weekends and this world isn't earth.
It is quite futuristic compared to earth. There are floating cars and bikes.
But what's intresting is that this world has nobles and kings.
I am from a commoner family. But it didn't disappoint me as I wasn't looking for a life of luxury but a life of happiness.
I found out that this world is a fantasy world. It has Mana and dungeons. People have superpowers and the awakened can see an interface which shows their statistics.
One day when we were playing in the nearby park, A dungeon appeared and within minutes the awakened secured the perimeter and went inside to defeat the boss and prevent dungeon collapse.
All this setting felt a little familiar as I know mana from my previous life when I read the novel my friend gave me.
He told me this setting was quite common so I might be overthinking.
"Here you are"
I heard my mother's voice behind me.
"No more running around now. I won't play with you unless you complete this bowl."
"Ok Mother" I told with the brightest smile on my face.
I was enjoying my new life.
