Synopsis
The Yandere Idol meets The Perfect Human. Kizutaka Rin, a 17-year-old boy, the final product of the Ideal Human Project, finds himself on the receiving side of an overly-affectionate idol. In terms of raw intelligence, strength and athleticism, there was no one else on the planet who could challenge him. He was the greatest human to have ever been created through the project’s hundreds of years of existence. Wanting only a normal life, he finds his desires blocked by the presence of a young girl. Tobiichi Luna, a 16-year-old girl, the most well-renown idol to have ever come from the Nishikawa Conglomerate. Not to be grouped with other celebrities, she was beautiful, cute, smart, sly and shrewd. Idols don’t rise to the top by playing nice with others—she was the ultimate example of this. Engulfed by an unimaginable sense of emptiness, she finds herself fixated on the boy who often stands beside her. Two people who both exceed human expectations. Two people who lack empathy, emotion and rationality. Two people who analyse on levels beyond the comprehension of normal people. Chapter 1 - Prologue

—All idols must have relationship counselling.

A young girl looked up at her supervisor.

"I don't get it, what's this rule… all idols must have relationship counselling?"

The lady, wearing a tight, worn-down suit, leaned against the wall, sighing. She tried to avert her gaze from the young idol staring intently at her, however, it seemed that she wasn't budging.

"It's a long story. There was once an incident between an idol and her manager. Anyways, we're just trying to prevent that from happening again."

The girl twirled her hair around the tip of her finger.

"Still, I don't think counselling is going to stop someone from getting into an indecent relationship. Wouldn't it be better to just ban it entirely?"

"It's not that. You'll learn the truth of what happened in this agency when you're older."

The little girl pouted.

"Stop being so condescending. Why do you adults always think that we're naive? I know about sex, and the relationships that result from it. Just tell me."

The lady looked down at her with a sharp glare.

"If sex was the be-all-and-end-all, our agency wouldn't have collapsed! Do you really want to know the truth?! Do you want to know about the blood of a young idol being strewn along the hallway floor? An entire generation of children were ruined because of the two of them! The two people involved were both crazy beyond your understanding!"

"H-huh...?"

"I'd call it a tragic misunderstanding, because unlike the police and everyone else who were investigating, I knew the truth about both of the kids. They're both victims of circumstance."

There's a reason we have that new rule.

It's irrelevant to the majority of idols.

Only in a very specific situation is a tragedy able to brew.

Tobiichi Luna, she was the star of this agency. She was the most popular girl here by far. We found our mailbox being filled with fan mail almost every day. For all intents and purposes, she could've dated any boy she wanted.

In theory, that was accurate. But when a person receives so much attention, they grow desensitised to affection. As a result, they raise their standards to unachievable levels. Usually, they would eventually lower them again, upon finding out that there isn't anyone who can reach them.

However, Tobiichi Luna was able to find someone who met those standards.

Mixed with overconfidence, determination and desperation, she would not let go of her only love.

When the boy was stubborn in his own unique way, the perfect mixture of ingredients began simmering in the pot of tragedy.

People died.

When two people with overwhelming levels of intelligence and a complete lack of rationality clash with each other, there is no positive outcome for anyone.

This is the story of Kizutaka Rin, and his relationship with the world's smartest idol.
