On a quiet night, Hayama Akira, an office worker, was walking home after his tiring overtime work.

He was a man with unkempt black hair, black eyes, and a very tired looking face with dark patches under his eyes.

He walked because there were no buses or taxis that were still active at this hour. Luckily his house is close to the office so the distance is not too far.

'But still, do I really have to walk two kilometers on this dark night, come on.' He thought as he sighed, and continued walking.

But not even a minute had passed, he suddenly felt dizzy and quickly grabbed a tree not far from him.

'What happened? did I force my body too much? I feel like I'm going to pass out at any moment.'

He tried to calm down but soon his body lost the strength to support him and he fell to the ground.

He felt his consciousness begin to fade away bit by bit, then completely disappear.

Unbeknownst to him, a small portal appears above his unconscious body and begins to suck him inside.

In a dense forest, a small portal suddenly appeared and spit out Akira from it.

Due to the sudden fall on the ground, he immediately woke up.

"Where is this, a forest? I'm in the middle of town so there can't be a forest near me." He muttered.

Not long after that, a transparent screen appeared in front of him, "What is this?" he muttered again. He then tried to read what was written on the screen.

'Is this weird screen showing my stats in numbers? That's pretty cool to be honest.' He thought while getting a little excited, but then he remembered that he still didn't know anything about his situation right now.

*Rustle*

He was startled by a sound coming from the bushes. Like someone or something just passed there.

"Who's there!" He turned quickly to the source of the sound and started to feel a little uneasy.

Not long after that, a small blue slime jumped out of the bushes and startled him.

"Slime? It doesn't look strong... but I have to be careful in case this little slime holds a lot of power inside its small body."

But... the same screen suddenly appeared again.

And after seeing the information on the screen, Akira felt like a fool who was afraid of a slime that only had one for all of its stats.

'What an embarrassment' He thought with his face red from embarrassment.

He looked around for something to attack with and found a fallen tree trunk not far from him.

He picked it up and started making his way to the slime. After arriving in front of the slime, he started to lift the tree trunk and then pounded it against the slime.

The small slime then disintegrated into small particles which then entered Akira's body.

"It feels like grinding in an online game." he said.

The screen appeared again with a red blink, as if it wanted to tell something.

Akira touched the screen which caused the screen to disappear then it was replaced by a new screen.

The screen showed Akira's stats as before, but now something was a little different.

Strength – ∞

Defense – ∞

Agility – ∞

Magic – ∞

HP – ∞

Skill – ∞

Akira was shocked when he saw what happened to his stats. All of his stats have been replaced from what were previously in the form of numbers, now they are the symbol of infinity.

What does the infinity symbol mean? Infinity means infinity/perpetually/never runs out.

In other words... Akira had become Invincible just by leveling up once.

Before he could comprehend the situation, the screen appeared again.

Without thinking, he immediately chose "Yes".

After that, his body began to glow with a dazzling light… However, after a few minutes, the light started to slowly fade away and revealed a completely changed Akira.

His unkempt black hair was gone, replaced by straight, healthy silky black hair. His face that was previously pale from staying up late, was now replaced with a healthy, soft, and white face. His black eyes also looked sharper now.

His body which was previously thin due to lack of food is now a healthy body with a little muscle in certain parts.

Despite being over 30 years old, after undergoing this change he started to look several years younger.

"Wow" Akira was surprised by the change that happened to him. His body felt light and the back pain he often felt was gone too.

"I'm not complaining about my new appearance but... when I was in another world I thought that I would be reincarnated into a powerful race like dragons, or the legendary wolf Fenrir."

As if hearing his words, a new screen appeared.
