Her companion turned around to look at her away from a painting that had three family members, only to her horror as where their faces should have been are three holes.
"Yeah, I don't think we should be staying here any longer," they said calmly but also ominously.
"Mm"
The two quickly left the building before heading to...
"So, where are we going?"
"Ah...."

A giant gorilla gallops on all four while its mouth sends shockwaves through every living being in front of them, in that moment is Laura running desperately with the help of her magic and blasting the tentacled face gorilla with elemental attacks.
The canyon she has been running down the path for a while now is not coming to an end at all making her scowl show on her face, the waves of attacks between her and the monster doesn't seem to change either.
(But since I'm only relying on mana most of the time I will lose out first) she can tell that most of the attacks from the monster are mostly its skill and the rocks thrown at her are only the product of physical strength.
(If I have a fighter or vanguard to draw its attention while I charge my attack then....No, not like anyone would help me in this situation)
She then switched to running more, stopping her attacks and defense to increase her pace.
Noticing this the monster roared even louder and slammed itself onto the wall of the canyon.
"!!!"
Seeing what it has done Laura watches as rocks begin falling from the cliff up top towards her.
A volley of rocks falls onto where she runs on forcing her to run even faster to avoid any of them.
Rock shrapnel hit her body from some of the lucky ones leaving her full of cuts by the time the dust had cleared.
Laura continue forward with her injuries throbbing around her body, and that's when she sees are narrow path ahead that she can reach with enough time with the gap between her and the monster she will likely be safe soon.
But the sound of a projectile up above with its large shadow over her pops that balloon.
"....."
(I'll just have to climb then!)
Switching her plan Laura proceeds to climb the large boulder blocking her path, but then another shadow cast over her.
Spell: Shield
Her body flew through the air as the spell broke from the physical attacks that exceeded its capability.
(I really need to up from spells...) is what Laura thought as she got closer to the ground.
"..."
Hearing three distinct sounds, Laura got up and found herself looking at Aerina's companion.
"Hey, are you alright?" asked another's voice from beside her who breathed heavily, in winter gear.

(Ah, that's Laura Bernard from my class! W-wah~ What do I do?!) Aerina opened her mouth to try to say something else but couldn't find it.
"....", meanwhile Laura lay there on top of her companion dazed and injured, who looked at the companion with an uneasy gaze.

As the three are stuck in the same position as before a loud shockwave shakes the space around them causing everyone to get up hurriedly.
But Laura wobbled to the side and was caught by Aerina's companion.
"Hey, Ms.Bernard"
"Oh, he--" but she couldn't say much as she felt herself blacking out.
"Oh, it's okay we can talk later", then the companion lifted her up and looked at Aerina.
"Let's get out of here for now"
"Got it"

Laura barely understood her situation much due to losing focus many times during their escape, but seeing the glimpse from time to time she understood that they were now safe.
If jumping from one rock to another while being chased by giant tentacle-faced gorilla counts, or squeezing through the narrow pathway that would give any claustrophobic experience to anyone before arriving at a crossroad where one path leads to a forest and the other leads to an ocean and after deciding with a coin flip the two (and one barely conscious person) headed to the forest where they are now under a large tree with its roots above ground wide enough for a human to enter but large monsters unable to enter and could only claws at the roots fiercely while roaring at them.
"Okay, I heal your injuries now, but just to be sure can you check it yourself?" the student asked her which she did feeling the mana around her body.
"I'm fine now, thank you"
"So, how have you been?" the student asked as if they hadn't just seen each other for a while.
"Good, but I was hoping for a better circumstance to meet you"
"That sounds great, but at least we're talking now"
"True" she chuckled at the optimism from this person.
"...", but she couldn't say the same to Aerina who is watching in horror at the monsters barking or roaring at her.
"She's my companion while I was looking for a way out"
"Mm, I see. But how come the two of you found me?"
She was sure that the area she was in is far from where the exit should be since what she found might be considered the boss of that zone in the dungeon.
"Oh, yeah, very weird actually, we were like walking through the snow feeling the breeze and stuff then she was like alarmed when one of the trees starts glowing, I was like getting ready to fight it but then we found ourselves in this hot dry place with rocks everywhere and everything was so loud with the whole rocks falling and monster roaring"
Laura listened with amusement at the speaker as the story telling is certainly lacking in elegance and many things, but it was enjoyable and new to her as well.
"Then I saw someone flying through the air so I just ran and grab them before headbutting onto the wall, which is how I found you"
"I see, thank you for the explanation"
"No problem"
"I know its funny that my head hit the wall and make a weird sound but don't worry it's okay, happens to be often enough to get used to it"

This person somehow made her smile.
