[The Cube]
I took the liberty of naming it myself, and although the others didn't voice any objections, their expressions seemed somewhat blank.
Over the course of the next two years, many guild members decided to retire from the game, prioritizing their real lives. Only their NPC companions and items remained, dwindling our guild to a mere twenty members.
During this time, I created three powerful floor guardian NPCs, drawing inspiration from characters in anime and movies I had enjoyed in the past. The first guardian was based on Esdeath, a succubus with wings on her waist. I modified her background data to make her the perfect embodiment of strength and allure.
The second guardian took the form of **Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade**, a vampire who could assume three forms: a child, a teenager, and an adult. She mostly appeared in her teenage form.
As for the third guardian, I poured meticulous care into recreating Mavis Dracula, my childhood love. I assigned her the role of my right-hand companion, ensuring she possessed all the qualities I remembered.
Although I created several other NPCs, none could compare to the level of the floor guardians. As the guild master, I had the privilege of creating four such guardians, and for the final slot, I had a special plan in mind.
I embarked on a daring quest to tame a dragon lord, and with the assistance of a world item, I bestowed upon it a humanoid form. Using the cube's power, I meticulously adjusted its background data.
And thus, the fourth guardian came into existence. Named Toru, she possessed the ability to effortlessly switch between her dragon and human forms. I assigned her the position of head maid within the tomb.
One day, five rival guilds banded together to raid our tomb. We found ourselves on the brink of defeat, but the return of our retired members turned the tide in our favor. With their support, we successfully defended our sacred space.
Seeking retribution, we launched a counterattack against the opposing guilds, managing to steal a significant number of their items and forcing them to relinquish their World Item.
In the years that followed, our guild continued to flourish. Our influence expanded, and our reputation as formidable players solidified. The Great Rubik Tomb stood as an impenetrable fortress, a testament to our strength and unity.
However, the allure of the game began to wane for some. Slowly, more members decided to retire, leaving only a handful of loyal players behind. Undeterred, we persevered, committed to preserving the legacy of Whitebane.
And so, our journey in the virtual world of YGGDRASIL continued, with the tales of our triumphs and struggles weaving together to create a legend that would be remembered long after the game's servers shut down.
