The weather was bright and beautiful, perfect for everything today, she was going back home today to England, where her parents lived

she have been away from home for years

being Victoria McCarthy was not an easy job

college was like a long vacation from all of it

Her family was royalty, from a of honourable Lord's

Luxurious life, the servants, paparazzi, balls and all,was cool but stressful

she missed her parents a lot, they were like best friends, Victoria being the only child made their family of three very close.

She up from her bed to go take a shower with a smile on her face

Mrs McCarty would be going frantic with preparations for her, after all it has been four years,Mrs McCarty Amelia the viscountess was known for her elaborate life style

Victoria also dreaded going home for some

reasons, home also came with a lot of responsibilities, she didn't want to think about

Arriving at the airport 30 minutes before her flight, she sat down and texted her bff Cassy

she noticed a few stares from other passengers sitting around

Victoria was an exceptional beauty, her flawless milk skin and blonde hair always made her stand out

she had the perfect frame with luscious curves in the right places, her grey eyes and full pink lips made her look out of this world

she wasn't the chubby little girl that left Amsterdam 4 years ago

she knew she was beautiful but she didn't care about looks because sometimes it drew unnecessary attention to her, just like now

When she heard her flight being announce she was more than happy to start her journey back home

Victoria was beaming with smiles as the car drove into the effable mansion and parked in the garage.

" Home sweet home" she said as she closed her eyes and sighed.

She looked though the window and saw the middle age gentleman standing at the facade of the house, wearing a broad smile. He was definitely waiting for her arrival.

"Dad!" She called excitedly as she jumped out of the car and ran into his warm hands, embracing him tightly.

"Oh little angel!" He reciprocated as he clutched her even tighter and ended up lifting her from the ground.

"Dad! Dad! Put me down. Dad!" She giggled and Mr McCarty finally kept her down.

"It was fine dad. And getting to hold you here again makes it even finer" she replied and they both laughed.

He turned to the guards and drivers around.

"Okay. Okay. Get her things in." He said to them and touching Victoria's face.

"Come in honey. I'm sure you must be pretty tired.

"very" she replied.

They walked into the exquisite living room with laughter, Father wrapped his hand around Victoria's shoulders.

the butler must have seen her through the security cameras and informed her mother of Victoria's arrival

Amelia was out of the door before she could know it , throwing her hands around Victoria tying her in a bone crushing hug with tears in her eyes

"oh my baby how I missed you she said,I missed you too Mama

she still looked the same and smelt like heaven

"Barron our daughter is here

"yes.,she is my love

the servants stood in a single file with smiles on their faces

Nana Victoria's personal maid helped the butler take her things upstair

how she missed this scenario

"dear, let the young lady go upstairs and freshen up for dinner, she must be famished and I know she missed your meals

your mother made a lot specially for you

Barron said with a beaming smile

Going up into her room, she saw everything was left exactly the same

her prom pictures were staring right back at her, Victoria herself can say she changed a lot,she was a woman now

Nana helped her prepare her bath as usual

promising to tell Victoria all the juicy gossip in town, she had missed out on,with a brief hug she left the room

After a long bath, she joined her parents for dinner

her mother went extra miles indeed

the table was filled up and the servants where still bringing more

"Mrs McCarty are we having a feast this is too much

"it is not when your only child comes home after a century her father replied

he always supports whatever his wife does

even though he knows she does a little bit extra

Victoria wanted something like this when she got married,a husband who stands by her

The meals where splendid as always when her mama made them

After dinner, they chatted about everything that happened in their lives

whose daughter got married, whose husband was cheating and everything there was to tell

yeah, Victoria and her mother were the perfect gossip pair

Her father told her about the State of their family business while giving his wife the stink eye for being meddlesome

speaking of marriage,Victoria hoped her parents don't mention anything concerning hers

she was still hoping it never returns like a bad dream

she wasn't looking forward to being tied down soon, she still had a lot to accomplish

Victoria stayed away from anything relationship during school because she wouldn't want to lead anybody on

deep down she knew it was also because of her family's so called tradition, sometimes she wished she was someone else but she wouldn't trade her parents

Victoria loved her life but not Everytime

After retiring to her room Cassy her bff called and they made plans to hang out tommorow

they've been friends since childhood, she was the daring one amongst their two

from a modern family with all the freedom to do as she pleases

she had other friends from the same social circle but they were nothing but spoilt pricks and bitches

they had nothing to talk about,if it wasn't about their latest car,it would be the latest design cloth

A bunch of royal asses who didn't want to work or even go to school

their family had all the money to keep them going for a life time

Cassy was one of the realest things she had in this fake world of chaos
