The skill didn't need any skill process to activate because It didn't belong to any attribute, in other words it was an exclusive skill.
An exclusive skill was a special skill which didn't belong to an attribute, such skills are granted to an individual by the great system itself when it deems them 'worthy'. It only occurs on extremely rare cases and most people, about ninth five percent of the human population, never got one until they died.
No one knew the criteria for obtaining such skill, not even the representatives of the INTERSTELLAR headquarters, it was expected though and most people had already gotten used to the whimsical and elusive nature of the great system.
Kim had just been granted such a skill, but he didn't have the time to dwell on it. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind and focused on the task in front of him.
The skill seemed to activate by itself and the sparked quickly grew stronger and louder.
*Tsuuuuuucht*tsuccccht*
'arrrgh!!'. He heard the feminine voice in his head scream. The energy that held him tight seemed to release it's grip. By this time, it was no surprise to Kim that the mysterious speaker was the owner of the green Qi around him. He attributed the energy weakening due to the state of the owner.
The sparks just continued to grow louder, and so did the intruders screams of agony.
'arggggggh!!!'
The skill seemed to be one which worked with the mind, it protected it's owners mind and could self activate or be activated on will. Finally, the situation was turning around for Kim.
"RAWWRH". He heard the bears shout, he immediately looked up and at the monster. The beast had already fully charged up it's skill, and was now walking slowly and cautiously towards Kim. It's instincts were telling it to not get involved in whatever was going on over where Kim was, but Kim was not worried about it right now as he focused all his attention on getting rid of the unwelcomed guest in his head.
'your body is mine!!!" The intruder screamed as she tried to force herself into Kim's mind. Kim wasn't very welcoming of this gesture though
"GET! OUT!" Kim screamed as the sparks grew once more, he could feel the presence of the intruder dwindling and kept on pushing with the skill.
'arrrrghhh!!!! This isn't over, disciple of the heavenly tempest sword school. Mark my words, I will pay you back one hundred fold! We will meet again'. As Kim heard this sorry excuse for a threat, his devilish nature took over and he said:
'yeah. And when that time comes, I'll just kick your ass again'. He said while flashing a triumphant smile. The intruder was obviously ticked off by this, but before she could reply the skill had already evacuated her from Kim's mind. The energy dissipated.
*In another place*
A woman opened her eyes. She was sitting in a small dark place, around her were four burning insence and various paper talismans were hanged all over on the walls of the small room.
Immediately the woman opened her eyes, she was welcomed back to the physical realm by a severe headache. Her head was spinning and her vision was blurry. With one hand she held her head, and with the other her stomach which also ached.
She wanted to saw something before she felt the upward movement of substances reaching up to her throat. She practically crawl-ran to a nearby shallow well and released all her vomit, she puked a black purple substance as well as blood. Her blood.
When she finished this, her aches seemd to reduce to a bearable level she then wiped her mouth clean of the blood and said:
"H-how dare he. A mere fledgling reduced me, lady Diane the strongest practicioner of the eternal jade palm fist clan, second to only my mother and some of the clan's top executives. I swear I will have my revenge!!"
"Arrrrgh!!". As she outwardly made known her desire for revenge, the splitting headache and dreary abdominal pain returned and assaulted her again. She puked again, and continued this cycle for a few more times.

The message was followed by the deactivation of the skill, Kim was satisfied as the skill had achieved it's purpose.
"RAWWWWWRHH!" The beast roared again, drawing all of Kim's attention to itself.
"Oh, I apologize for my rudeness–keeping you waiting for so long. I'll make sure to wrap things up with you before doing any other thing". The smile was still on his face, he had developed a confidence he didn't have before. Let's hope he actually has the skill to back it up and it isn't just foolish arrogance.
He activated a skill.

'finally, it worked'.
The QI wrapped around his sword, Kim looked at his Qi covered sword and for the first time ever he actually appreciated it.
The Qi was a light blue colour and combined with the silver colour of his sword's blade, the sword achieved a really bright and cool look.
The beast threw away it's previous caution and ran straight at Kim. Kim just stood there in one place, he brought the hilt of his sword down causing the blade to become parallel to the incoming creature while it's tip faced the ceiling.
The beast was now in front of Kim, it's claws were already in a downward swinging motion. But just as the claws were about to make contact, Kim suddenly jumped. But instead of going back or side ways, he went verticaly upwards. He went so high up he nearly crashed head first into the ceiling, and again the creature's claws hit nothing but the ground, the earth underneath buckled.
The circular room had had enough, two of the four pillars supporting the room shattered and the entire chunks of rocks started falling from the ceiling. The barrier also shook wildly but it never got destroyed, no it held on steadfastly.
The beast lost it, it roared wildly as it recuperated from the earlier attack while looking up at Kim. He paid it no need, however, and just focused on the attack.
'more! I need more power!'. He shouted inwardly as he gathered more Qi from his surroundings and imbued it into his sword, the blade started to crack.
He kept on infusing Qi while falling downwards at the creature's open maw. He imbued energy until the blade started humming, it had multiple cracks around it, one of which reached the tip of the sword. But Kim didn't care.
When he thought he'd gathered enough, he waited until he entered range before slashing down at his opponent. The creature, sensing the power in the blade, tried to defend but the attack made all that seem irrelevant.
Kim dropped down while slashing, and cut the beast into two equal halves. Literally, the attack ran down from the head to the anus, blood spewed and the creature fell. It was finally dead.
The messages started pouring in

The number of messages were overwhelming, Kim was too tired to read most of them. His eyes were heavy and his body felt like it had been pumped full of lead.
"Yes.....it's finally...over". He said as he looked at the corpse of the demonic bear, his grip around the hilt of his sword, or what used to be a sword, loosened.
"I think it's safe now...right?" But before a reply could reach him, he fell to the ground with a hard 'thud' his vision blurred out and he lost consciousness, right there in the den master's room.
