"Ezra," Atlas said knocking on the door. "Yea," Ezra replied. "Can we come in please," Atlas asked. "It's not locked," Ezra replied. Atlas and Kane entered the room. Atlas went to Ezra and hugged him. "It's gonna be alright Ez," Atlas said. Kane walked over then sat a cup of water and tissues down beside him. Ezra didn't say anything just hugged Atlas back tightly and cried. Just then there was a knock at the door. "I'll go answer it," Kane said then left. He went downstairs and opened the door. "Hi sorry I might have the wrong house," a girl said. "Hi, who are you looking for? I can try to point you to the right house," Kane replied. "Um I'm looking for my brother Ezra Channing," the girl replied. "You're at the right house come in. He's upstairs I can go get him for you," Kane said moving aside. The girl entered and Kane shut the door. "Wait here," Kane said then went upstairs. "Hey Kane who was at the door," Atlas asked. "She says she's Ezra's sister," Kane replied. "Oh Ezra I didn't know you had a sister," Atlas said looking over at him. "I have a younger sister who lives with our father. She should be 17 now. I haven't seen her since I moved here for college," Ezra said standing up. He headed downstairs with Atlas. "Mila," Ezra said. "Big brother I've missed you so much," Mila said walking over to Ezra. She hugged him tightly and he hugged her back. "What are you doing here," Ezra asked breaking the hug. "I wanted to see what you were doing. Since you know Mom passed away a few weeks ago," Mila replied. "I'm doin' alright Mila. I'm not alone," Ezra said putting his arm around Atlas. "I'm glad you got friends here with you, brother," Mila said smiling. "Atlas isn't just my friend Mila," Ezra stated. Atlas looked up at Ezra smiling. "Oh wait does that mean he's your boyfriend," Mila asked excitedly. Ezra nodded while Atlas hugged him. Kane came downstairs in his work uniform. "Wait Kane I thought you were off today," Atlas said letting go of Ezra. "Unfortunately Keighley called out for being sick," Kane said. "But Kane we had plans," Atlas pouted. "I know Atlas and I'm really sorry. If you don't work tomorrow we can hang out then. Don't pout," Kane said patting Atlas's head. "Alrighty but don't forget," Atlas said. "I won't," Kane replied then left.
"Kane are you ready," Atlas said going over to him. "Yes," Kane replied. Ezra and Mila walked into the room. "Where are you guys headed," Ezra asked. "We're going to the beach. Do you guys wanna come," Atlas asked excitedly. "Yes," Mila said excitedly. "Let's us get a few things," Ezra said. "Yay," Mila said excitedly. Just then Kane's phone went off. "Hello," Kane said answering the call. "Hello Kane it's me," Akito said. "Akito did you get a new number," Kane said. "Yes," Akito replied. "We're getting ready to go to the beach," Kane replied. "I see. I just so happened to be at the beach," Akito said. "Oh well we should be there soon," Kane said. "Alright see you guys in a bit," Akito said hanging up. "Is Akito joining us," Atlas asked. "He's already there but he said he'll join us," Kane replied. "Really that's awesome. We haven't seen him since our trip," Atlas said. Mila and Ezra returned then they headed off to the beach. "Wow there's a lot of people here today," Atlas said. "Yea," Kane agreed. "Is that Akito there," Ezra asked. "It is. Akito," Atlas yelled happily waving. Akito waved back then went back to talking. "Why is he talking with the police," Mila asked. "Not sure," Ezra replied. "He just messaged me," Kane stated. "Really what did he say," Atlas asked. "He's here with his brothers and their wives. He also said that there is an open space near them. All we have to do is look for Arlo. He had already informed him," Kane answered. "Alrighty let's go then," Atlas said excitedly. They walked until they saw Arlo waving them over. "Akito should be here soon," Arlo stated. "Is everything alright," Ezra asked. "He helped a couple of women who were attacked by some guy," Arlo said. "Arlo dear come in the water," Veronica yelled. "Im comin'," Arlo yelled back. He sat his phone down then went into the water. Kane sat on the beach while the others went into the water. "Are you not getting in the water," Akito asked sitting down. "Didn't feel like it right," Kane replied setting his phone down. "Hmm we can walk the beach if u want," Akito said. "Alright let's do it," Kane said standing up. Kane turned towards Akito who was grabbing a couple of waters from a cooler. He handed one to Kane then they began their walk. "Akito, Arlo said you helped a couple of girls out earlier," Kane said. "Yea, the man went to jail. The girls are alright I think," Akito said. "Did you not check to make sure," Kane asked. "No they were with the police so I assumed they were alright," Akito said. "Can I ask you something," Kane said as he stopped walking. "Yea go ahead," Akito said turning towards him. "Have you always known how to fight," Kane asked. "I learned how to when I was thirteen," Akito replied. "Why would you wanna learn how to fight," Kane asked. "No particular reason. Kinda just felt like it," Akito replied. They continued on their walk but when they returned Mila was crying and Ezra was on the phone. Atlas ran over to Kane. "What's goin' on," Kane asked. "I'm not for sure but it's a family thing. Ezra is on the phone with their half-brother," Atlas replied. They walked over to Ezra who had just got off the phone. "Ezra," Atlas said. Ezra hugged his sister then looked up at his friends. "Unfortunately our father was in a car accident and passed away. I have to find a place big enough for me and my siblings," Ezra said. "We'll help you," Atlas said. "Yea," Kane replied. Akito walked over to his brothers. After some time they ended up leaving the beach and headed home.
"Ezra should be here soon," Atlas said running into the room. "The rooms are ready. I and Akito cleaned them up," Kane replied. "Oh right. Thanks so much again for your help Akito," Atlas said. "You didn't have to help us," Kane said. "It's nothing," Akito said. "You do realize that you are letting us live in your house right," Atlas said. "Yes I also realized that I hardly use it so you guys feel free to call it your home," Akito said. "Thanks again," Atlas said. "No problem," Akito replied walking into his room to make a call. Atlas and Kane went outside on the balcony. "Do you think that he will find the place alright? It is kinda in the middle of nowhere," Atlas asked. "He'll find it nothing else hell call one of us," Kane replied. "I never even knew he had a sister let alone half-siblings," Atlas said. "Well you know he never really talks about his family," Kane stated. "That's true. I think I'm gonna call my mom," Atlas said running inside. Kane saw Ezra pull in then went downstairs. "Hey, Kane. It kinda took me a bit to find the road but we made it," Ezra laughed. "Yea it is a bit hidden," Kane replied. "Hi Kane," Mila said walking in. "Hello Mila how you doing," Kane asked. "Im doing alright," Mila replied smiling slightly. "Here," Kane said handing her something. "What's this for," Mila asked taking it. "A poster for your room. Akito got them for you guys," Kane replied. "Oh, that's nice of him. Is he still here," Mila asked. "Yea I think he's in his room still," Kane replied. "Oh, um can you show me my room please? Ezra is gonna help Zenith and Zena," Mila said. "Yea come on," Kane said. Mila followed him upstairs and to her room. "It's nothing special but we went with Ezra told us," Kane said. Mila opened the door and entered the room. Kane carried her things in and sat them down. Mila turned around and hugged him. "Thank you so much Kane and to Akito as well," Mila said breaking the hug. "No problem," Kane said then left the room. "Kane," Akito said. "Hey Akito everything alright," Kane asked. "Yea I have to go but I'll be back when I can. Message me if you guys need anything for the house let me. There's also a maid that comes at least twice a week," Akito said then left. "Where's he going," Atlas asked shutting his bedroom door. "I have no idea but he said to message him if we need anything for the house," Kane said. They went downstairs and into the kitchen. "Man this house is huge," Ezra said. "Yea it is," Atlas laughed. "Akito said to tell him if we need anything for the house," Kane stated. "Looks like we have everything," Ezra said looking around. "There's a lot of food in here," Atlas said. "He did say he hardly stays here," Kane stated. "Really," Ezra said. "Yea," Kane said. "Ezra," Mila yelled running into the kitchen. "Mila what's wrong," Ezra asked. "It's Zena she's crying and I can't get her to calm down. Plus Zenith isn't helping," Mila said. Ezra went with Mila to Zena's room while Atlas and Kane followed behind them. Zena was crying while Zenith had headphones on and was holding a stuffed bunny. Ezra sat down beside Zena and hugged her. "I miss Father," Zena cried. "I know you do. We all miss him. But you know he's in a much better place now," Ezra said. "Is he with Mom," Zena asked. "Yes he's most likely telling her all about how much you and Zenith grew. Telling her about all things you guys have done and all things that she has missed out on," Ezra said. Zena hugged him tightly. "I miss them both," Zena said. "I knew you do. Just know that if you need anything me and Mila will be here. If you can't find us Atlas or Kane will be happy to help," Ezra said. Zena broke the hug and looked up at him. "Thank you, brother," Zena said. Mila walked over to Zena and sat down. "Don't worry Zena, father will always be with us in here," Mila said pointing at Zena's heart. "I know sisy thank you," Zena said then hugged her. "I will make go make us dinner," Ezra said. "Ooh I'll come help," Atlas said happily. They left from the room and went into the kitchen. "Is brother dating Atlas," Zena asked. "Yes but you didn't hear it from me," Mila said smiling.
"Man college sucks," Ezra said as they walked up to the entrance. "Don't worry Ezra we're almost done," Atlas stated. "Not me I still got a few more years," Kane added. "Oh yea," Atlas said. "Have fun with that," Ezra laughed. "It's not all that bad," Kane said. "Does anyone know if Akito is coming today," Atlas asked. "Not sure I haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks," Kane answered. "Maybe we should call him," Atlas suggested. "Hey Kane is everything alright you seem a little upset," Ezra asked suddenly. "Yea, it's nothing no worries. Im gonna head to class," Kane said then left. "We can ask him after our classes. But something is wrong. He looked like he wanted to cry," Atlas said. "Alright see you after classes are finished," Ezra said. Atlas hugged Ezra bye then ran off to his first class. Ezra walked to his class but on his way he saw Akito talking with a group of girls. Akito was tryin' to walk away but the girls wouldn't let him. Ezra walked over over to them. "Akito is everything alright here," Ezra asked. "Was tryin' to get to class," Akito replied. "Hey girls I hate to inform you but Akito isn't interested," Ezra said. "How would you know? Your not him," a girl stated. "Well for one he's a friend of mine and for two he already likes someone. Unfortunately, for you guys it's none of you," Ezra said. The girls all pouted then left mumbling and gossiping. "There you are Akito. I'll see you later," Ezra said and walked away. Akito headed to class and sat down next to Kane. After their class, Akito pulled Kane aside. "You alright," Akito asked. "Yea," Kane replied. "I can tell that you aren't. You wanna talk about it," Akito said. "You have another class right now I don't want to make you late," Kane said. "I'll skip it. Let's go somewhere quiet so we can talk," Akito said. Akito and Kane left the college campus and went to a small cafe. "Kane," Akito said. "I'm fine really," Kane answered. "You have tears rolling down your cheeks. You're not fine. It's just us here," Akito said. "Today would be my brother's birthday," Kane replied wiping his tears. "Did he pass away," Akito asked. "I'm not sure he disappeared when I was 16. He was only 12 at the time. I've been looking for him but I'm starting to think he might be...(Kane couldn't finish the sentence as he began to cry.) "If you want me to I can help you look. I'm sure he's still out there somewhere waiting for you," Akito said handing Kane a handkerchief. "You don't have to do that," Kane replied taking the handkerchief. "I will if you have a picture of him," Akito stated. "I do on my phone," Kane replied. "Alright," Akito said. "You don't have to do this," Kane said. "I know but I want to," Akito stated. "Oh alright. I can uh send you the picture if you want," Kane said. "That works," Akito said. Kane sent the photo to Akito, and after that, they talked for a bit before heading back to the college.
