Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Comprehensive Evaluation Without Movement

A new class was established, and Sasuke joined his teammates Sakura and Naruto in performing basic D-level missions assigned to them. These tasks involved mundane activities like searching for cats, cleaning up garbage, and assisting with chores such as tree-cutting and weeding. Although these tasks didn't contribute much to their training, Sasuke participated diligently, not wanting to take any chances and draw attention from Hiruzen, the village leader.

Due to the time-consuming nature of their missions outside the village, Sasuke had little time for actual training. However, he remained focused on refining his chakra, dedicating his nights to intense chakra refinement and practicing one-handed hand seals. Remarkably, within a week, Sasuke managed to increase his chakra reserves by nearly two-thirds. Each night, he pushed himself to the brink of exhaustion, continuously improving his chakra capacity.

Sasuke's rapid progress and extraordinary talent would undoubtedly surprise others if they were aware of it. Chakra growth at such a speed was unheard of among ninja. Additionally, his proficiency in one-handed seals had reached a new level, allowing him to accelerate the speed of seal formation. Surprisingly, Sasuke discovered that he could even perform jutsu that required two-handed seals, albeit without increasing their power. However, this modification allowed him to omit a quarter of the seal, reducing the time needed to execute ninjutsu and potentially gaining an advantage in battle.

After finding a suitable training ground outside Konoha Village, Sasuke shifted his focus back to ninjutsu practice. However, he decided against training his Lightning Style technique, Chidori, due to its loud and conspicuous nature as well as its high chakra consumption. Sasuke recognized that he needed to increase his chakra reserves before attempting multiple uses of Chidori. Instead, he chose to specialize in Fire Style and selected the Fire Dragon Technique.

Sasuke made this decision after comparing it with the Great Fireball Technique, another Uchiha family ninjutsu. While the Great Fireball Technique was powerful, it had a slower attack speed and was difficult to control. On the other hand, the Fire Dragon Technique was easier to control, had a faster attack speed, and, with increased chakra injection, could expand its attack range. Sasuke believed that by further improving his control over the Fire Dragon Technique, he could reduce chakra consumption, release the technique more quickly, and increase its power.

With this goal in mind, Sasuke dedicated himself to mastering the Fire Dragon Technique. Despite practicing for less than an hour a day, his talent allowed him to reach the level comparable to a Jōnin specializing in Fire Style within a few days. Sasuke's progress astonished him, and he eagerly anticipated the next level of mastery. However, despite his substantial growth in chakra reserves and ninjutsu skill, the system's evaluation remained unchanged, labeling him a "Weak Genin."

Perplexed by the system's judgment, Sasuke considered that his weakness might lie in his physical skills. His current Taijutsu level was only proficient, and he wondered if improving his skills in the Body Flicker Technique could alter his comprehensive evaluation. Although finding Kakashi, his former mentor, for training was not feasible, Sasuke realized that there was another master of Taijutsu within Konoha.

Sasuke decided to seek out this master to enhance his Taijutsu abilities and potentially change his evaluation. Despite Kakashi's reluctance and the attention it could draw, Sasuke believed that his remarkable performance would impress the village leader, Hiruzen. With determination, Sasuke resolved to find this gymnastics master and continue his journey to become a formidable ninja.
