Chapter 32 - Unleashed Power.

The roar of the crowd was deafening as Kris emerged victorious from his battle. The entire arena buzzed with excitement, the air thick with the energy of the intense fight that had just concluded. Cheers echoed through the massive hall, but amidst the celebration, Cain's sharp eyes caught sight of something unsettling.

Standing in the shadowed corner of the battleground, Jun appeared unnaturally pale. His usually confident, almost carefree demeanor was gone, replaced by a trembling figure . Cain frowned, his brows knitting together as he tried to understand what he was witnessing.

"Jun… what's wrong with you?" Cain mubbled . This wasn't the Jun he knew—the boy who thrived in chaos, who relished in challenges with a calculated grin on his face.

Before Cain could dwell on it further, the announcement of his own match blared through the speakers. Shaking off his concern, Cain made his way to the arena. As he passed Kris, the latter clapped him on the shoulder, a warm smile lighting up his face.

"I'll be waiting for you in the finals, Cain," Kris said confidently.

Cain nodded, offering a faint smile in return. But his mind was elsewhere—on Jun, who now stood across the arena, waiting for their match to begin.

The match started with the usual formalities, but Cain's focus remained split. He couldn't shake the image of Jun's pale face, nor the feeling of unease gnawing at his gut. And then it happened.

Without warning, Jun's energy surged—a dark, ominous force that made the air crackle with danger. Cain's eyes widened as he recognized the power Jun had inadvertently unleashed. *Revenge of Blood.* The forbidden technique. A power so dangerous that it could easily claim the life of a sixth-star mage if used recklessly.

A crimson aura erupted around Jun, twisting and contorting as if alive. His eyes, once filled with fear, were now blank, controlled by the overwhelming force of the forbidden power. The ground beneath them trembled as the energy coiled tighter, preparing to strike.

"Damn it, Jun!" Shouted Cain .

Cain thought, his heart pounding. This wasn't just a fight anymore—it was survival. If Jun's attack hit, there'd be no coming back from it.

Cain had no choice. He couldn't hold back any longer. Reaching deep within himself, he summoned the power of the Shadow Monarch, the dark, ancient energy that had been his greatest secret. Shadows pooled around him, cloaking his form in a shroud of impenetrable darkness.

As the two forces clashed, the arena was engulfed in a blinding light. But in that split second, as Cain's power met Jun's, something unexpected happened. Cain's consciousness brushed against Jun's, and suddenly, fragments of Jun's memories flooded his mind.

Flashes of a young girl—Jun's sister, Aisha—being taken away. The cold, ruthless face of their father as he sold them off like cattle. The shadowy figures of the organization that now held Jun in its grip. And the overwhelming fear and desperation that had driven Jun to this point, to use a power that could very well destroy him.

Cain staggered, barely managing to stay on his feet as the memories overwhelmed him.

"Aisha… Jun's sister. She's in their hands because of their father?" Mubbled Cain as he saw the memories.

The realization hit Cain like a blow. This was why Jun had been acting so out of character. He wasn't just fighting for himself; he was fighting to protect the only family he had left.

And then, the final, most chilling memory—a name that made Cain's blood run cold. The organization that held Jun was the same one that had once destroyed Cain's life. The one led by Cassian, his past lover, who had betrayed and killed him in his previous life.

Cain's heart clenched, a mix of anger, sorrow, and fierce determination swirling within him.

" Hah! That damn bastard , he is still alive " said Cain while fighting with jun .

The clash of powers reached its peak, the energy threatening to tear the arena apart.

People started shouting about the intenseness of the battle that they were feeling, association official and other hunter used their powers to protect the audiences as their clash of powers were threating the whole arena.

At that point when the match was going on and on , Cain used his one unique ability

" Moonlight dream" it's an ability to put your opponents into a deep sleep but to use this ability you have to stab your opponent on their heart. To do that , he used shadow steps, it's an agility skill that makes you fast as light. Since jun was using " blood revenge" for so long, he started to go insane and in the mindset Cain took it as an opportunity and went towards him .

Seeing this , people started shouting " why is he running towards jun? Doesn't he knows that if someone use a forbidden power skill like " blood of revenge" how dangerous it is near them . Even after hearing all this , Cain ran towards him and stab him towards his heart. Seeing this people started shouting, not because of cain stabbing him but because, during this situation, jun slash cain's shoulder when he tried to stab jun . After stabing , an explode happened between them . Seeing this

" Cain...!!!" Kris shouted .

As the dust settled, Cain stood panting, sweat dripping down his face. Across from him, Jun collapsed to the ground, unconscious but alive. The crowd's cheers had turned to shocked murmurs, no one fully understanding what had just happened.

But Cain knew. And as he looked down at Jun's fallen form, a new resolve took root in his heart. He wasn't just fighting for revenge anymore. He was fighting to protect those who were caught in the web of that cursed organization—people like Jun, who had been forced into a life they never wanted.

As he walked off the battlefield, Cain's thoughts were clear.

"Cassian, you took everything from me once. I won't let you do it again.
