Chapter 5 - Distinct Perceptions

Rosaline had been so distracted by the solemnity of the dilemma she was thrust into, that she had skipped analyzing the surroundings. But one thing was for sure, she was starstruck by the magnificent room she was in and how could she not? An exceptionally immense bedroom, to begin with, at least fifty times more massive than her room in the apartment, back in her world.

...

After her bath, the maid guided her towards an expanse that seemed to be a makeup room. "What? More space", she shrieked in her mind. She was seated in front of a mirror that was as reflective and radiant as the purest spring of a waterfall.

Raven gently dabbed some light powder from a box on her face. Eyes closed; she could sense how tenderly Raven was applying the powder. She unlocked her intuition only to envision a person she felt was entirely another individual. How come she looked so glamorous? She stared at the mirror and then rapidly at the powder box admiring what kind of sorcery it was.

Her maid seemed to be a pretty decent stylist, she thought to herself. If she was in her realm, she would've been quite a celebrated makeup artist. The way she took her pink strands of hair, twired and braided amplified her features even more.

.....

However, in the comity of the minute, Rosaline abruptly twitched as if her mind pointed out something. While Raven was braiding her hair, she peeked at her reflection in the mirror and inquired in a very considerate tone,

"May I ask you, A-are you a werewolf too?".

Raven scantily knelt and answered in the same formal tone, "Yes my lady I am". It was quite weird as she looked completely like a normal woman in her thirties. Her face was not hairy and she had no tail at all. Maybe Rosaline was hoping for a no as an answer. She tweaked and swallowed her saliva. Raven considerably scanned her perplexed hands that had started to shake slightly although not noticeable.

"My lady. No need to be fearful in this regard. Every individual is a werewolf but all of them have a mortal appearance. His majesty Edmond has compelled strict laws in the kingdom, and everyone honors the vitalities of others"

Rosaline sought a breath of relief, but she could foresee the undeniable threat that lay in front of her. A human in the territory of werewolves? The danger was quite apparent itself. Halting the continuity of her intuitions, a somewhat young girl knocked at the door. It was the delivery of the dress that Rosaline would be wearing.

....

An extended glint blue frock encircled her from her trunk down to the bottom. In her contemporary world, everyone wore every sort of clothes they liked but those dresses were considerably smaller and lighter. What she wore was remarkably stunning embedded with gravel that sparkled like a ruby. In comparison to this, the skirt she wore the night before was definitely bold.

No matter how long it was, its sleek design complimented her body features so well. The blue color accentuated her eye color as if it had been prepared specially for her. "Positively I haven't met anyone from this world before. Right?", she shortly discarded all the thoughts that promulgated in her disposition.

Standing in front of the mirror she looked like a literal goddess. Even Raven couldn't help but elucidate her beauty,

"My lady you are shimmering like a princess in this dress just like….", it seemed as if she wanted to praise her more but stopped right at the juncture of a sudden realization.

Rosaline looked at herself in the mirror and puffed in a breath of air. It was time to confront her fears. The great endeavor was waiting ahead of Rosaline as she officially stepped into the world of werewolves.
