Ji-Soo ran as fast as he could through the ruined city, zooming past multiple monsters he encountered on the way. His breaths came out as ragged gasps, and his footsteps echoed as he desperately ran.
"This wasn't how it was supposed to go," he mused. "Who the hell is that guy? Why the hell is he after us, and how the fuck is he so strong? He moves like he's on steroids or something."
Lost in thought, he stubbed his right toe on a massive piece of rubble, tripping and falling to the floor. He bruised his knee from the fall, but his focus was entirely on something else. As he staggered and managed to get to his feet, he looked behind to see the approaching figure of Ji-Hoon. All the monsters he zoomed past were already reduced to measly pieces of flesh and blood after Ji-Hoon diced them down.
As Ji-Hoon closed in on Ji-Soo, he crawled back slowly while keeping his gaze fixed on Ji-Hoon, whose eyes seemed to glow as he approached.
