After dinner, Ares returned to his room and dove back into the mythology. He sought out the instructor and requested to learn some skills. The instructor assigned him a mission to hunt wild beasts to assess his strength and determine what skills to teach him. Ares eagerly presented the treasures dropped by the level 5 lone wolf and the python as proof of his abilities to the instructor.
The instructor was left wide-eyed and in awe as he examined the valuable loot. After composing himself, he uttered, "Okay, since you are already so capable, I will teach you an S-rank sword skill: Heavenly Slash. With a sword in hand, you can slash apart anything as long as you will it."
Inwardly, the instructor wondered how Ares, a seemingly ordinary player, would fare in learning this difficult sword technique, even elite-level players would find challenging due to the need for exceptional comprehension and harsh requirement. One of the requirement was that a user should have physics should be related to way of sword dao, while other was ones heart must be dedicated to the sword
When Ares heard the name of the skill, his eyes lit up like glittering stars, and he eagerly looked at his interface.
Ding! [Do you want to learn the skill Heavenly Slash?]
Ares wasted no time in selecting "yes." Immediately, the knowledge about the skill flooded his mind, and a new active skill lit up on his interface. The instructor, still in disbelief, watched Ares learn the skill right before his eyes, his jaw dropping in astonishment.

Without further ado, Ares dashed off to find monsters to test his newly acquired skill, leaving the astonished instructor behind.
As Ares ventured deeper into the forest, he encountered a formidable opponent—an imposing level 9 gorilla. Although Ares had already reached level 6, this gorilla was of the gold tier, a rarity among the wild beasts in the game. Until now, Ares had only faced bronze-tier monsters, so the sudden confrontation with a gold-tier creature made him nervous. Nonetheless, he steeled his heart and prepared to engage in battle.
As Ares attacked the gorilla with his blade, he realized that no matter how hard he struck, his attacks couldn't even leave a mark on the creature's tough hide. The gorilla's defense was incredibly high, rendering Ares' previous tactics ineffective. With limited options remaining, he decided to utilize his newly acquired sword skill.
Gathering every ounce of remaining mana, Ares unleashed a powerful heavenly slash towards the gorilla. In that moment, the world seemed to come to a halt. Everything fell into silence, and then, in a sudden eruption, a fountain of blood gushed from the gorilla's body. The creature collapsed lifelessly to the ground, defeated by the overwhelming force of Ares' skill. However, the sword in Ares' hand had been completely destroyed, unable to withstand the power unleashed by the skill.
Ares found himself pale and panting, having expended nearly all of his mana and stamina in the process. He sat down for a while, allowing his body to recover and his mana to replenish. The intense battle had pushed him to his limits, but the rewards were significant. Ares had gained two levels in an instant, reaching level 8.
Curious about the spoils of victory, Ares examined the items dropped by the gorilla. Among them, he discovered a silver-tier sword named Heaven Cleaver. Intrigued by its potential, he inspected its stats.
Heaven Cleaver Tier: silver Attack: 500
durability: 2000/2000
skill: Heaven cleave-( DEALS 150% OF USERS ATTACK POWER)
Excitement coursed through Ares as he examined the Heaven Cleaver, a silver-tier sword with an attack power of 500. Compared to his previous weapon, which had only 150 attack power, this upgrade was substantial. The sword's durability stood at a full 2000/2000, assuring him of its reliability. Additionally, it possessed a skill called Heaven Cleave, allowing him to deal 150% of his attack power in damage. Ares was more than satisfied with his newfound weapon, feeling a surge of confidence in his abilities.
Having collected the gold coins, sword, and leather furs from the defeated gorilla, Ares ventured even deeper into the forest. He believed that the threat level of the novice village shouldn't exceed that of gold-tier monsters, giving him a sense of assurance. However, his sense of security was shattered when he laid eyes upon a wolf the size of a mountain. Realizing his insignificance compared to such a colossal beast, Ares instinctively fled for his life.
In his panicked escape, he failed to notice the weak grounds and cracks on the surface, which seemed on the verge of collapse. The ground beneath him trembled and cracked, swallowing him into an underground tunnel. Desperate attempts to climb back up proved futile, leaving him with no choice but to venture deeper into the tunnel. Unbeknownst to him, this tunnel would lead him to a place guarded by the giant wolf. As he cautiously made his way through the tunnel, he encountered no monsters along the way. After what felt like an eternity, he finally caught sight of a gate. As soon as his hand touched the surface of the gate, a notification chimed in his interface.
"Ding! [You have discovered the ancient Dungeon of Mythology., (one time dungeon / will collapse after being cleared. Difficulty level; unknown"]
